Hi dwightnoble, that was well described... to answer your query on 'anti –rust treatment for the underside '.... i own Xeta salsa red GLG from 2006 aug from concorde khairatabad....i have given this 'anti –rust treatment for the underside ' I feel these are very much needed. the car serves ou...r purpose of transportation and lets serve the car for its maintenance. this anti-rust helps prevent the chasis to be intact and in gud condition. the sooner the wear and tear the lesser the safety in future. how we feel the smoothness, safety and comfortability in the beginning..i mean when the car is new...we expect the same qualities and performance for loner duration which is achieved using these components....there are actual technical reasons which were explained to me in sannathnagar service station.... additional info from my end..(what i do to my car) 1. anti-rust 2. 'Miracle-teflon coating'. 3.started using Mobil-1 oil instead of castrol-so more smoothness, mileage and better performance(note:mobil-1 is close to twice the charge of castrol) 4.using high leaded petrol-i use HP power...similar in others are xtra premium....available in different names in diff petrol distributers 5. get them vacuum cleaned, shampoo washed atleast once in a quarter 6. i also do wheel alignment after a 400+km drive hope this helps -chennaiguyRead More

hi mouthshut members..i am using xeta and my mileage increased from 8 to 14kmpl within 500km to 1200km.so any member who has a dilemma abt mileage can go ahead talk with concorde authorised tata show room people.they have track of customer mileage during each service.even concrode is having a tracki...ng program for mileage bcoz the car xeta released in last year end is tested by a team in concorde.so as customers come with real time mileage indicator.so probably next advertisement of xeta will carry 16kmpl mileage bcoz of realtime on road mileage data provided by customers. fine for more details abt my experience with xeta pls read 'My Salsa red xeta' post. thanks, chennaiguyRead More

hi williams sorry for late reply indica is a shape of an egg.means best in class aerodynamics.i adored this design for a long time.i am a fan of formula-one and studied few specifciations on f-1 car designs.well as a commercial passenger segment indica provides all it needs to balance it self good ...at straight speeds and carry over and maintain the speed during curves and turns.thats why it is a big sales hit in cab segment.indicab buyers not only look for low cost car and best mileage .but also for good maintenace and road balance and u know how indicab professional drivers drive thru city or highway at highspeeds.now u have all reason why xeta(part of indica family) needs to have the same best design,Read More

hi roshan, reliability is good as far as my usage is concerned.it all depends on whether u get a faulty piece.it cud happen with any car u take.on the overall experience i wud say i am enjoying evey drive of xeta and its more tempting me to go on weekend drives for a long distant places ...the best... thing abt xeta i feel are #safety- well imagine a situation where u need to brake or hit an obstacle at hig speed.this with xantro or wagonr will be a big impact because of design and light weight body but with ultimate design and a strong proven indica body xeta is the best #best in class interiors- beige interiors which are designed for high end cars are just a piece of cake in xeta-so enjoy the feel of a high end car in a small budget #powerful engine- 70ps doesnt let u go in traffic or higways where u can challenge even heavy loaded med size cars # fuel economy-fuel economy for me hits at 14kmpl.i wud say xeta shud republish their advertisement saying mileage is 16kmpl bcoz for me now i am gettig 14kmpl as compared 8 kmpl when i bought the car initially-so i am even expecting to get 15kmpl as my drive increases #budget- low cost spare parts-easily available at all authorised/unauthorised outlets.just a indicab spare part can fit ur xeta during any emergency-so totally indian. #sales up for tata which means still low cost on maintenance and more service stations.proof http://www.indiaprwire.com/news/auto/20060413201-tata-motors -sale.htm thats all i have in my box-hope this helps u chennaiguyRead More

Hi members, This is my extended comments on my XETA after a month of usage. Now I can calculate that the mileage of the car is slowly increasing from 8 to 9 with AC on always. the more i like abt this car is the comfort.i am using it now more than a month and i feel my buy is a right thing.well AC... gets cooling gets really fast as compared to it was in intial stages.drive in the city is easy with smooth power steering and quick pick up. also i drove for 300kms in weekend and found the drive really good. no problems so far.i would say when u want to buy a car don't u take suggestions from different people but choose one which suits u.for my height 180cms and weight 85 i wanted a car for my comfort.also from safety point of view i felt indica is good compared to wagonr or xing.i will write more of my experience as days goRead More

Hi clevermax, I have already said i am not going to comapre Palio. the reason is it is really costlier for my budget. i am not a a car expert but from what ever reviews and word of mouth i hear is that mileage i sless in palio and maintenace, spare parts are huge. well i like palio since it uses re...ally powerful engine the one as the technology of ferrari but i cant afford for it. anyway thanks for your reviews.Read More
