Etios V - Value for money. Review on Toyota Etios

Hi All,

I have Etios -V petrol.bought it in July and have driven around 6500kms.

I drove my car from Hyd-chennai-Hyd and was really happy with the drive and performance.

For all those who write bad about etios.i would recommend them to go for different cars for same price.

Before I want to buy, did research and found 80% of reviews are bad but when I test drove the car I was impressed. Harsha toyota kondapur-hyd gave good customer service.

What I like in Etios-V for its price

1) good space

2) good mileage - 13kmpl in city and 17.5 in highways(all with AC)

3) Like the center console so able to track rpm and kmph at any state of my steering wheel

4) cruised around 140kmph in highway and didnt face any issues.(also read my same review in Etios facebook)

5) 15' alloy wheels with tubeless tyres

6) small turning radius with tiltable eps.good ground clearance

7) 2 srs airbags/abs/immobilizer, lumbar support front seats

8) 595 l boot space biggest in its class and in many class(carried half of my house during my chennai visit)

9) best in class cooling. like 2 ac vents top and down on co-passnger side. some models with ac vent near steering needs to adjusted else 40% ac air blows to steering wheel.

10) ac glove box.my kid calls this mini fridge.also my car can hold 7 1liter bottles outside this glove box and 5 inside this

and many more.

what can be improved

1) no arm rest in rear-couldve have been good but its fine

2) automatic orvm control

3) automatic climate control

4) mileage info in DIS(driver information system)

5) reflector indicators on side mirrors

above points may add pricing more.not sure how pricing may increase within this budget

6) it is true that I can hear very mild noise of engine/ac fan sound inside cabin.but thats only when I mute my audio and inside my office car basement.in normal driving conditions I dont feel the noise

I dont feel any vibrations as mentioned by others.plastic quality is .yes it can be improved but it is definetly decent and interiors are good in v-segment.found it is not that great looking in J and G variant.

recently took my car for free 20 point check up done by toyota as diwali offer and all is well.

I have given my true comments .
