Yeah! Travelling to the new airport sucks. I agree that it is too far, the buses are second hand and that it is quite strange to see them trying to sell branded watches etc. The designing is also a little strange. Right outside the toilets are the water spouts and right next to wet area is the ...Cafe Cofee Day outlet - very appetizing. But that's it. Compare the views, all the glass, the beautiful and comfortable seating, the numerous boarding gates, and the connectivity too - inspite of the distance. Hey guys, I too found it quite overhyped but at the end of the day, it is supposed to be an airport - a place where you board flights - not a shopping mall or a discotheque. All the same - it is either that there is nothing all that great about GMR or this is the fate of practically every project envisaged in Naidu's time and executed in Reddy's.
