My mobile hunt ended here. Review on Sony Ericsson K790i

Hi guys,

after my comments on Xeta car I am now jumping into this section to write abt my k790i.

well I had a basic LG reliance model with me from 2003 to 2006-december. well I shifted my company and due to poor reliance cdma's I changed to hutch.at this time I changed my fone.and before changing I did a good r&d.

well my requirements are

1. to take fotos(bcoz I have 4 month old kid so wanted to take as many snaps.i love travelling so I need a reliable megapixel).

   
   




2. to have a reasonable audio support( mine supports all formats like mp3, 3g and so on)

   
   




3. robust design( my child throws away my mobile also as elders we too slip our mobile several timess.)

   
   




4. bluetooth/IR( to transfer contents.)

   
   




5. games( java games prefered by me.gud support)

   
   

well with these in my mind I searched searched.i had lots of options in the market with all above features.nokia n series is gud but all this marketing and hype is just for a 2 megapix . so why K790i.well interestingly except 3 models with 3.2megapixel all others were just 2 megae pixels or below.

well if I wanted 2 megapix then it is none other than LGdynamite kg300 with all best features.

if I wudve wanted 2 megapix then I wudnt chosen none other than dynamite series(want to know more on why send me a perosnal message) . best in cost in 2megapix range but then since I thot I need 3.2 megapix,  k790i edged out for below reasons.

1.fully loaded cybershot 3.2megapixel with various features to take fotos.(auto focus, bestpix, panorama, what not.)

1. big screen.high resolution for better visibilty at all conditions.

   
   




2. solid body work.stylish and robust physically(some feel it is huge but let me tell u.all all slim fones in the market are physically slim and their features are also slim)

   
   




3. best in price.other 3.2 megapix from samsung and nokia costs more than 22k while this one comes with just 17k(at my time of purchase)

   
   




4. dynamic features.well easy navigation thru joystick.different user profiles.easy shortcut keys.highly user friendly.

   
   

when mobiles with camera came in the market with just kb size of picture quality.they were new but now they are out dated.well similarly in future mobile with 5megapix, 7, or even 10 megapix cameras will come and at that time all 2megapix and below will be outdated but still k790i can challenge the market as the nearest competitor.mark my words.

if u r serious to take a mobile then don't even think of other mobiles while this one is already capturing not only fotos but also the hearts of many.

here is one last personal sharing.

well last 4 months I have taken on an avreage 10 fotos and 2 videos per

day .i am capturing my activities of my kid.i am maintaining a

seperate hard disk and have even written video cds using nero and

windows movie maker.and everyone in my family are enjoying the snaps

taken.when we turn back after few years and see then we will feel

all these memorable moments are gud and we will thank k790i at that

time.

this one is really value for money.
