A good review there. I havent actually read the book but I've heard a lot about it. Some say, this book makes no sense whatsoever to anyone. Its about conflicts, about choice and ofcourse, about the psychological metamorphosis we all go through. And yet some say this book is no better than trash-exc...ept that it comes with a label. Then why is this book so darn famous. Thats coz..during the time when this book was published, few could absorb it..if there was any to absorb..so from obscurity it got famous or lets say notorious!!! Anyways...I will definitely make this my next book once done with Deaver!! Good review again Nits!! And keep up the good work.. CiaoRead More

Well a great book and the briefest justification possible to it is ur review. Read the books in my 3rd year of Engg and I must say,a philosopher like her becoming more and more hard to find! The seeking of individuality thats what the book is about. Think about the objectivism in this book, nothing c...ompares to it! glory to the book and to your review... Good work there again! A truly great book! One that pulls heartstrings all the way! I dont think any other book can be given the label of unteemed innocence and forthrightness as this one. I loved this book, every page of it. Read it a couple of years back and still the incidents are so vivid! Kitty is not indeed fictitous..., but perhaps it denotes that Anne Frank that lived in a free world, where she didnt fear to say or think of anything! Nothing can imprison the freedom of the mind-thats the message the book carries. A wonderful book, written with no pretense! And yes,a great review. Keep posting!Read More

A good poem and one that I think could have sprouted only after reading a book as intense as this one. Anyways, the last line strikes me -'To walk alone and tread along..' When Coelho says that the entire world conspires to help you, does he mean conspires in the sense that people wont come forwar...d and show you that they are there? Or more perhaps, its a statement made ironically to mean that we have to tread our path all alone! But then wasnt the Alchemist there to help the shepherd, wasnt the King there, wasnt the Gypsie oracle there, wasnt the Owner of the Chrystal shop there? They were all there, and although none took him directly to the spot where the treasure lay, each one of them gave the shepherd boy a direction, one that was full of puzzles, one that the boy had to unearth on his own-'The answer led to further doubts'-as you say. But he were all alone, why did all these people help him,why did he meet them in the first place? I believe these people are metaphors for the 'spirit of the world' .And so it shows that the world does conspire to help us. But its very true,'He wasnt afraid to ask and question;Hearing to the voice within..' This requires courage..and thats what Coelho wants to show-Only those who have the courage to follow their dreams,to question their existence,to rise from the mundane episodes, ultimately achieve their treasure. But as you have a ? mark at the end of the last line, perhaps its more of a question that you are asking yourself, in a perplexed state of mind. I am really astounded that the book can infuse such thoughts in anyone. Thanks for coming up with the poem. And yes, keep posting! Read More

A good movie after a long time. The humour is simple and effective, the dialogues, very simple and straight forward,no villians and no nonsense flirt scenes. I believe reviews in the past might have already done good justice to the storyline. But for sake of completeness, here it goes again. It...Read more

Parineeta is a good movie,a novel well made and the direction was good as well. But the ending seriously dissapopints me. It was turned into a typical bollywood flick! Why did Saif have to break into the wall? That wasnt the original novel line I believe. The novel was written to show that some thin...gs just happen that cant be controlled, they had to separate and that was a logical ending. Anyways, good movie, most of it and a good review, entire of it! The songs were great. Keep posting!Read More

A very good review and a real genuine one at that. 'All Jobs Suck!'-100% precent true, and I would be happy to give it a score of 200%. But rules wont allow me to do that! And thats exactly what everyone does. They expect something more, perhaps a tinge more and end up being unsatisfied. India is a so...ftware super power, whoa, wake up guys. how many Sabir Bhatias do you see. India's nothing but a cheap labour dump of maintenance projects. You expect cake and you get carrots. companies dont give a damn what the hell you know,or how well you groom your crappy resumes, you are just a headcount for them, revenue earning coin collection box, thats why you have to fill the timesheets regularly remember. But that happens only in Services Companies, right? Wrong! The so called product companies do the best maintenance in the world. Macromedia,SAP Labs,Verizon..pick any name. They are the same lot. But no ones complaining. All everybody gives a damn about is going abroad, making fast bucks and return with a porsche(actually thats a too far -fetched!) so you can let your C based bspline curves go to hell! 'Loves labour lost'. Money is the only thing in it..nothing else.. Anyways, sorry for making this an Illiad again. Keep posting! Read More

Firewalls, yeah, those pack of tools that filter out incoming packets that are set as a potential threat by the user, like Trojans and even spies. I do agree with you that Symantec Norton makes the system somewhat slower. But thats the price we have to pay or security. I am not sure which version you ...are referring to,but I personally know one package thats really good. Thats the Norton Internet Security 2004. It effectively blocks away all extraneous ports ,enables you to build your own surfing list, and wont allow any connections to a DNS server without your explicit permission. It checks all incoming packets at port 80,the HTTP port and other such ports where any kind of intrusion is possible. Thats the sole reason why almost 80% of all Professionals go for it. if your system is getting slower,I would recommed you check your main norton antivirus package and clear out the quarantine files. Keep updating every week for the latest virus definitions. Anyways,an honest review there yours! Keep posting!Read More

I switched to Hathway recently. And all that I've been hearing so long is praises for Hathway. This is the first that has dashed everything,i mean ur review, and turned it into a can of worms! Anyways, the Hathway guys here are charging only 2Rs per MB extra download and they say their services are t...he best in the city. I had to wait around 2 weeks to get my mail id configured and I am keeping my fingers crossed until the bill comes. Maybe I'll have some good things to write and refute u then. Anyways, good practical review. Keep posting!Read More
