Nice to see you here again, my friend. I have not had much time for writing but try to keep up a bit. Been saving this until I had time and wouldn't you know it, the Oscars are on tonight. I wonder what Oprah was thinking in casting these people...Hmmm. SHe is sharp but does not have the best ...taste in movies (Beloved and her casting of this movie). I have not seen this one-can you believe it? but I just know that Carey and Kravitz are not sound pics...Duh. :)Read More

I loved this movie. IT was one of the best of the Coen brothers but really takes a certain twisted mind to appreciate it. R~ This is man! I love him in ALMOST everything. The one exception is Death to Smoochy. Who talked him and Robin Williams in to that movie?!!! I am always impressed with Norton's versatility, his playing 'two sides of a coin' with such ability. Do note and wrong word choice: protesting his innoc...ence...Should be professing... Sorry to hear that you didn't like this movie. I was prepared not to and wound up laughing. I thought it was excellent Coen Bros. Even Clooney was good. Certainly not for everyone and so absurd but that is what the Coen Bros do! JH

I LOVED this book and your review did the book justice. Mitch Albom does still do sports reporting and is on: SPORTS REPORTERS on Sundays. My husband watches him and you can catch him...I want to tell you, that you remain a great writer on MS and I have been disappointed with some reviews in the las...t few months...Hopefully when I have time, I'll be back and give you a run for the money! K~ You are right about MS, but don't have them post your reviews. If you have a new review to add (and the subject) request they add your subject on Mouthpad and then when they do, do it yourself. You are a good writer and you will get more people to read what you post!!!!!! Best, Jodi

Your thoughts are laid out well but you HAVE to break this up into paragraphs to make it easier to read. The first thing I noticed were that no one rated the review and I immediately wondered why. This is why. AND I like what you have to say..:)!
