A good movie after a long time. The humour is simple and effective, the dialogues, very simple and straight forward,no villians and no nonsense flirt scenes.

I believe reviews in the past might have already done good justice to the storyline. But for sake of completeness, here it goes again. It stars Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia as two common teenagers, living life, having fun. Their parents get really worried about their marriage. So they meet one fine day,and Ayesha puts it-''They(my family) make me look like a quintessential Cultured Indian Girl presenting me before some lesser known strangers, desperately wanting to get me married'' Unfortunately, the marriage doesnt happen, through a hilarious mixture of events and their families get into bitter loggerheads!

However the two continue to meet and ultimately they start loving each other. But wait, there are some slight problems in between. Abhay is engaged to a Catholic girl(Love sees no religion angle),and Ayesha's parents are trying hard to get her married to her old-boyfriend. The rasms are almost done, and the next moment, she runs away to find Abhay in the middle of a High Level Meeting. Anyways, she doesnt give a damn, neither does the other, and they soon get married!

I believe the acting of the two beginners was a little above average. But the story was good. So whats really good? You ask? Separation and then marriage again. Typical! But the mixtures in the between, the hilarious dialogues(between young man and his going-to-be-Father-in-Law,between Abhay and Oberoi) were really good!

And then this movie shows the spontaneity of love, that one is never too sure about it,full of doubts and re-thinkings,above all, love is about being good-friends. Simple, right! Very much!

And then the music by Sandesh Shandilya is amazing. The tracks Mera Tumhara is marvellous-

Mera Tumhara kya rishta hain, kuch bhi nahi. Agar kabhi tum, gujar ta dekho, kya tum mujhe bulaogi, shayad nahi....Kyoki Tum meri koi nahi

And then the theme song Socha Na Tha has the most beutiful flute and guitar tunes I've heard in a long time. Even if you have not watched the movie,go ahead listen to the slow and melting song. It will definitely draw you to the movie.
