This is a hog wash... I seriously dont think they have the right to even request removal of a posting. Making policy and contact details public could be an irritant by itself!!! Insensitive and oblique!

this seems to be standard practice for Airtel.. and with the closets of the telecom lobby coming out in the open, no wonder they dont care about laws.. Airtel is well abve all laws of land

Here's an update. Well, as expected, the story of cheating, false invoicing, deceit and false promises continue. I request all readers to visit and read through the string of communication in the Eureka Forbes corporate resource over here to understand how desperately hopeless the company's service ...and credentials are. I now know that Kent is giving good service in Delhi, so request fellow readers to consider carefully their options when purchasing a Home Appliance product. On one hand you have EF who basically think that products are meant to be dumped on dumb users. On the other hand you have certain companies trying to break the EF stronghold by providing 'service'. Over the last couple of days I have received many calls from the company. That means that the consumer redressal system does work when pushed through their corporate profile on Mouthshut. However, resolution of issues is still a problem. As discussed with Mr Adhir and Ms Usha, post the visit from M...r Surendra, the issues that need resolutions remain: 1. Why do I have a Invoice for the value of Rs.10,990/- against a payment (by cheque) of Rs.11,990/-. Ms Usha from Dwarka has called me many times today regarding the same and informed that the unit price on records was 11990/- and the computer generated invoice was an error (???). Incidentally the bar code slip mentions Rs10990/- but has been manually corrected to Ts.11990/-. I have asked for a letter informing me of the same and a revised invoice. Response awaited. 2. Replacement of faulty instrument. The model is faulty is obvious since the model has been discontinued in less than a year. I am willing to pay the differential (new price minus Rs11990/-) if a higher cost model is given as a replacement. My lawyer has suggested that I lodge an FIR at the Dwarka police station for a case of fraud. Do my fellow readers think I should move court (and not consumer forum) on this now?Read More

i loved the neem-hakim part... was trying to imagine him treating his patients with loads of neem stems and beating the head with a broom stick mumbling some German gibberish to treat baldness... BTW does he wear a wig? or has he got that hair woven into his head?

another update: the problems enumerated above was never solved really.. 2 weeks after the above post, the same issues cropped up.. the same loop was revisited thrice since then - call service center, engineer visits, he opened the unit, hummed to himself & left... the saga continues.. This Su...nday I shifted home.. the engineer demanded Rs. 250/- .. when I asked for the bill he said 'Eureka Forbes has contract engineers for installation and service, so we cant give bills' .. well needless to say I flatly refused to pay.. in the end he made a few calls, and then begged me to give Rs.50/- for his troubles! Is this what Eureka Forbes stands for today? the sad story doesn't end here.. the unit is malfuntioning as usual.. the service engineer said 'you are being a nice, guys.. this unit is a failure model and I service at least 10 units every day with the same problem, I am sick of it'.. i called the customer care number, (3 calls) .. they said that they cant take a complaint on this and gave me the Dwarka branch office phone number.. i called there yesterday and one Ms Ruchi patiently heard my entire case and then said she will speak to her seniors and call me back before the day ended.. needless to say, nobody called me.. when I followed up today twice, one person who identified himself as Mr Luvkush (???) literally screamed at me obscenely and said that if I wanted to go to court I was free to do so but I will get no more support from the company!!! he did send someone who repeated the same old story about a malfunctioning SV that has been out of stock for over 9 months now and promptly left... I know what will happen on this post.. i will get a standard format 'Understanding the intensity of disturbance caused to ... from their Corp Comm and then that will be the end of it. for all future users of Eureka Forbes products i have 2 advices (unsolicited though) 1.
