Dude, no one asked for ur advice on whether we need to come down here, or not. For all that u boast about so much, even u wud head down to some damned place if it means u earn more money. And as far as the crime rate is concerned, maybe with all the number of schools and engineering colleges u have,... u shud instill some sense of education in the people here, so that they do not resort to such activities.
There is no point in having such a huge number of schools and colleges if the products emerging are not fit for the industries here. In such cases, companies wud continue recruiting people from other states, and they would keep coming. No point lamenting over it.
Last time i checked, India was one country... surprised to know u have a totally different perspective.Read More

I had recieved this fwd sometime back, and someone had taken the initiative to mail the people at ICICI bank reg teh same, if it existed. The response was in negative.
Also, an excellent case in point was the comment which aske...d what wud happen if a PIN number was 1331, 1111, 2222, and so on.Read More

Were u referring to Metro Ford in Bangalore? am surprised u found them useful..... everyone else i hear from, keeps cursing them.. to hell. Take a look at their reviews on MS itself.

Hi, must compliment you on an honest and well-written review. u have given a detailed account of all u have experienced, which is what an unbiased review aims to acheive. Please be careful to ensure that u arent overbilled at Big Bazaar...
I was charged 150 Rs extra for a product which i had purchased. As i had solid proof with me, in terms of the bill, as well as the discount price of the product which was marked, i got the refund done in abt 20 mins.
Why was ...i not surprised when i wasnt the only one who faced the same problem..!!

Point put across really well.
I'm new to posting reviews on this site, though i have referred this quite a few times earlier for my purchasing decisions.
I feel what wud lead to the downfall of this site wud be the contests and points system. The most recent 'Post a comment and win', was among ...the most ridiculous contests i have come across....!!
Guess there shud be a quality control of some sort, wherein senior members review new reviews, with regards to content, and then publish them online. Such a system is followed on forums such as team-bhp.com, and so on, where u are allotted a status depending on criteria such as 'newbie', and so on. The race to post the maximum number of reviews should be removed and emphasis given to meaningful reviews.
I do not predict doom for this site, and am sure it wud definitely rise like a phoenix.Read More

I was at the Vahaan Yatra expo in Bangalore, and these ppl had a stall there.. they were proclaiming it was gud.. as it had some microprocessor n stuff....

i have been to PVR quite a few times here in Bangalore, and although i do agree with you reg the astronomical prices they charge, i must say the cleanliness has been pretty decent on most occassions, or rather all. They do hold up the show for about 10 mins or so aftr the previous show to clean up. ...
Prices..... the less said the better... but are they fools to make them any cheaper, when even with seriously crazy prices, they usually do well???!!!
Customer service : Try asking the people at the ticket counter something and they treat you as if u were wasting his time, when the sole purpose of his being there, was to serve you.
Food items : A glass of 'large' Pepsi is large indeed... just that the ice holds more volume than the Pepsi contents. The Mirinda i purchased tasted more like Rasna with high sugar content.
To add injury to insult, they dont allow you to get any food items from outside..!!
Screen and sound effects : Now, this is where they score, and they know it. This explains all the previously mentioned points.

Innova is indeed a great handler, and with loads of interior space... but road presence and people staring at it all the time??? It looks like a minibus.. i am sure many wud vouch for the Scorp in terms of its road presence...!!! innova is a gud vehicle... period, but not on all counts mentioned.

As u rightly said, Blore police seem to be averse to following the legislations laid down by the courts.. they live in a land of their own.
There was a snap and an article in the TOI here, wherein even after the helmet rule was made mandatory, a senior officer was clicked on his bike, sans the h...elmet, and also with a smudged numberplate. Next day the article said action was taken against him,.and he was fined. Lets hope more such instances come our way.Read More

When i was asked to meet some senior officer, i spoke ONLY english.. no hindi too... (they have some aversion to that too..)
