Hi FM,
Rahasya was more a semi fictional one, had the required masala and all, Talvaer on the other hand is more a police procedural sorts, sticks to the case, no distractions thankfully.

Hi Jitu
Thx for the RRC, do watch the movie you will really like it. The best thing I liked is that it did not sensationalize the issue, and stuck to the facts.
On a side note what's happened to MS, here back after a long time, and seen that the quality has gone for a toss. Also very less ppl ...rating reviews, is it that most have left.Read More

I personally am not aware that much of the real life Whitey Bugler, so can't really vouch for the authenticity or how true it is to the actual story.
As a movie buff, I liked the movie, though it had a strong hangover of Goodfellas, Departed and Donnie Brasco.
The movie though not in the l...Read more

Everest is a throwback to the old Hollywood adventure epics of yore, where you had a group of people, slogging it out in the toughest of terrain. The quest here however is not for some hidden gold or an ark, nor do the characters have to face rolling boulders or snake pits.
The characters her...Read more

Thanks for making me remember this movie, was one of those who became a crazy fan of Madhuri Dixit after this movie. Watched this movie, so many times just for her, again and again. Movie on the whole was entertaining, very hard hitting dialogs. Good review.

Polythene bags - the height of hypocrisy
Jul 13, 2011 12:26 PM
Hi Nice to see this DP from you, Plastic has always been an environmental menance, especially the polythene bags. Many of us carry our stuff in them, coz it looks better, even though Jute or cloth bags r much stronger, and more environmental friendly. We need to cut down on the plastic, its can't be... disposed off at all, and only ends up choking the environment further. In fact one reason for the regular floods in Mumbai every time it rains, is believed to be all those plastic bags, choking up the gutters and drains, which are never cleaned.

Nice review, Jitu Bhai, one of Guru Dutt's more lighter movies, was a good, time pass entertainer, with some nice songs. Loved Madhubala in this.
