you are right girish. I have clocked 1.6 lakhs kms from 2005 and still it is going good. No issues in any mechanical parts etc unless parts have aged or worn out which is expected.

its all about preventive maintenance. .The oil leak cannot happen just in a day. You mentioned that you have serviced regularly in a showroom which means the mechanics over there are not good in terms of check made. Sometimes you have to be pushy to get things done. Even though they claim to check e...very details on specified kms, still explicitly ask for it. like shock-up check, brake check, under body check etc. If issue still persist hold them accountable and make a complaint to Toyota. I have done 1,60,000 kms in 10 yrs and have been specifically asking for major checks during service. The show room mechanics will be be in a hurry to complete the quota for the day in servicing and hence as an aternative what you can also do it to look for a good and reliable local mechanic and ask him to do a thorough check. He will for sure do a better job than show room. If there is parts replacement you can do it in show room. for simple service like oil change etc it can be done at local shop but be aware of the duplicate oil filter that may be used and hence make a check on it From your side as well look out for oil marks in the floor, engine compartment, exhaust etc which will be an additional check point. Dont wait till last day to get it repaired. A stitch in time saves nine as the saying goes !Read More

last row is usually for childrens. In case of adults sitting in last row, adjust the second row accordingly and it can be managed. Keep changing the seats in regular intervals while in long travels and should help

sequential is the best option. Dont go for any other options as the new generation engines/cpu cause issues. Go for BRC sequential kit, the best in the market. It may be slightly costlier than the rest but worth spending. I have been using in verna with ZERO issues for 4.5 yrs

Concorde motors - I dont have a servicing experience but had a bad experience w.r.t to its test drive option. They took 2 hrs before a old, pathetic, nonserviced sumo grande was given for test drive and had to massage my leg on the same night..

its illegal to transfer lpg from cylinder as it is for domestic use not for commercial one. There are bunks in hyd. goto any bunk and ask them and they will redirect you. Also if the alto is new wait for warranty period to get over other it is void

Correction - Innova was never placed as an SUV. It was launched as an MPV and hence the heading of this review itself is wrong. Have you ever realised that innova body is a accident absorbing shell called GOA which has high strength cabin and impact absorbent body. During accident the passenger...s inside are least impacted. The best vehicle in its class which the right balance between ride and handling. If you are scared to drive a Innova then you should never drive a Safari or Scorpio in your life which has poor ride and handling and safety features. Just having airbags should not be treated as safety. You also mentioned that that mileage is less. How is your driving style.? Sell your Innova to me for 3.5 lakhs @ cash Moderator - pl remove such reviews which is not useful for anyoneRead More

I am still ready to excuse all other small stuff but highly disappointed with no space if we have 7 people. Fitting luggage carrier is not something an immediate option. It doesnt always goes with the looks. Sadly with so much of hype in its launch, been over booked etc such important aspects have b...een overlooked. Wake up Mahindra...change your attitude and compete with internatinal players not just on looks but end to end.Read More

Should not immediately buy a new launch as they are continuous improvement pieces. For 6 months atleast all the feedback are collected and corrected in the newer ones. The best example is scorpio launch. It took 5-6 version before it came out better. Expect the same in XUV as well. So wait for somet...ime before one jumps to buy it. Another design flaw(I dont know whether we can call that way) is that if the passengers are full, there is hardly any space for keep the luggages. SUV is brought by the customer (apart from all) is good luggage space. Here it is missing. Overhead luggaeg carrier is not a option...Hope Mahindras does something for it.Read More

lets wait till it proves to be road worthy and not like scorpio which took 3-4 versions before it was stabilized. Hope this will not take that much of time.

Advaith marketing part is very poor. Me and my friend went to take test drive of verna. We were actually planning to buy. We tried discussing with the marketing guy and his attitude was as if - if you want you buy. I went at 2 pm in teh afternoon (my be post lunch blues...). I took a test drive thou...gh but then there was no followup. Similar incident happened with my friend who took a test drive and then no update. I went to Trident and got things in 10 days flat...Everyone will have diff experience but sometimes i am forced to feel that showroom is doing a favour (as if free car) by giving us a car. You say that you want to book it today...every one will come running to get the business...with boom in industry, these guys are sure that some how people will buy the car. Advaith is definitely NO-NO for me as well as will advise against going there to others... The sad part is that none of them undrstand the technicalities of it. You ask a question they give yo some irrelevant answersRead More

write directly to service head of Maruti and things will be taken care...The showroom guys think that we are stupid and dont understand if they give the car the way they like. Another issue is that these guys take cars more than they can handle and then hurry in meeting the deadline which lands them... in getting the job done correctly. Any showroom, come what may will miss 20% of the complaint mentioned. It is better to goto a local garage guy who atleast will spend time in getting things rectified...Read More

Welcome to LPG family and enjoy the savings. Use the car regularly to get a breakeven. Also you have started contributing positively to the environment. btw there is no issue with BRC kit repairs/parts etc. Its more to drive other brands. I am using BRC for last one plus year and have never visited ...the mechanic for any repair. I have a verna and i have fitted with sequential. You can read my review on it.Read More

Tes drive cars are usually driven by many and will be used the way the drivers like it. go to the website and get the email id or phone number and register a complaint. The district service engineer will contact you and will ask you to bring the car to the nearest dealer. Avoid the present dealer and take it some other Consumer court is also an option. Keep all the records with yo...u.
