hi, same thing happened to me when I was on Vodafone. I shifted to Tata Docomo and never got any problem till now. I have been with them since 2011. They are so true to the core. No false billing and customer support is excellent.

@rahulavachat No company gives test drive in night, spefically Ford. The bad service is with all dealerships I have tried 2 and both are same. He has mentioned everything correctly. These are true problems which everyone is getting with Figo now and then. Maybe you did'nt got them now but eventually... you will also do.
On the other hand mileage I am getting from 17 kmpl to 20 kmpl. Thats the only satisfying this about the car. Rest the service is super-bad and service guys are super-stupid. Rattling noises from some area is very common issue in Figo.
I feel the review is genuine and too the point. He has not said anything wrong.Read More

I would like to update that after doing 30000 kms and 3 services etc. I have felt the vehicle is STILL giving me mileage which varies from 17 kmpl to 20 kmpl and I am satisfied with the Vehicle (ONLY).
I strongly that Ford's service sucks. You should avoid a Ford vehicle due to this single reason... only. There's no point in getting a GOOD vehicle if you cannot get GOOD after sales. Sorry for the trouble.

@nipunsyal I have also upgraded to same size and it works like a charm. But I keep on getting threaths by so called Ford Service people about warranty and they try to make me sign the CIS.

I totally agree with youm Vechile is good but service and staff is not good at all hence that makes the vehicle bad also. I recommeded Figo to several people and they even bought it but deep within I know that unfortunately now those people will never listen to me again. Shame on ford. But as it was... my first Ford vehicle I would only say: ''Fool me once, shame on Ford!! Fool me twice, shame on me!!''Read More

Hi,
Recently I went to Vaishno Devi in my Figo BTW i have also ZXi Diesel and have done around 30000+ kms. I only like the mileage of the car and nothing else. The dealers and service is totally stupid. You're correct when you say that front mud flaps break as it has happened with me also.
But... on the service side I am not sure why its costing you Rs.4000 ? It just costed me Rs. 2000-2500 for 1st and 2nd service and Rs. 3500 for 3rd Service. Maybe you're doing something that is not required. I just stick to the schedule which is mentioned in the service book and nothing else.

Hi, I have ZXi and I have done 30000+ KMs. I am getting 19+ mileage and thats the only reason I am keeping this car. Rest the car is a disaster due to their service dealers and stupid terms and conditions which they did'nt disclose at the time of selling the car. Anyways good luck.

Hi, I totally agree with some of the issues you're getting. I am also getting those issues from day 1 but I have not complained about them because I don't want jerks at Ford service to rip apart the car and cause more issues. Anyways I am getting same probs. like sounds from roof, sound from brakes,... car getting stalled in mid road for no reason etc. I simply don't complain to them because they say its because I have got Alloys and Amplifier fitted in my car and threath me that car's warranty is voided. Hence I have made up my mind that I will drive this s**t for 2 more years and then I am gonna sell it and I am never going to see F**king Ford's Face again. (Sorry about my anger). I rather get any vehicle from GM or Maruti or Fait as GM dealer helped me fit amp. in my spark lol. I only enjoy the mileage of the Ford and nothing else. On long journeys the seats are not comfortable as I get pain in spine when going on long routes and no matter how I adjust the seat it simply won't help at all. So it was a good decision when I bought this car in terms of mileage and service cost. But in terms on reliability etc. it sucks the delaership sucks bigtime.Read More

Very nice review. I would like to clarify on some points:
1. DTE is accurate. Its real time meaning it is always calculating. So its accurate.
2. There is no turbo lag in Figo. ;-)
3. There is a coin holder in Figo hahahah no one knows but it is there hahah. Check below the steering on the left h...and side near the driver's door.
4. This deisel engine is reliable and proven. If it was not then Ford would'nt be putting it in all their cars like Figo, Ikon, Fiesta etc.
And yes a suggestion to everyone: Forget the figures, test drive the vehicle and then decide. Figo is a great car with very great value for money in every aspect.

Hi Analyzeit, Thanks for your kind response. Yes i agree that Figo Petrol is a totally flop and if I had to go for a petrol car then there's no match of the Swift. The petrol engine is very refined compared to its diesel counterpart.
Now regarding your query: I have done 2 highways and 5 high cli...mb trips and during the high climb trips I have not felt any type of problem at all. The car is very stable as Ford has this sharp steering compared to the German's stable steering and due to the sharp steering you can easily maneuver the car very easily. I have noticed that in 3rd and 4th gear it was climbing very quickly and there wasn't much gear changing that was required.
Overall the ride quality is very very good. On highway also the car is very peppy. Overtakes a vehicle like a monster. Also got very good mileage on both highways and uphills.
Also I got a new news that in Swift and i20 they are offering Electronic Power Steering where as in Figo they are offering Hydraulic Steering. Where as EPS reduces the maintenance but its not comfortable and responsive at high speeds and it just keeps on getting lighter which is kind of bad.
Where as in the Hydraulics this is not the scene. Its keeps on getting stable as your speed increases hence providing you more control over the road and better handling.
So I suggest you do a test drive thoroughly of all the vehicles in your list and then decide. Everyone has a different need and hence the vehicles also there to cater to those needs.

Hi ajaykupadhyay, The petrol is feature wise same as diesel but I have sometimes felt that its a bit sluggish when there are 5 passengers with AC on, hence more gear shifting will be required. The engine is good and reliable but 1.2 is a bit less. I hope you have test driven the same and you're sati...sfied. Though overall I have heard good things about the petrol variant also. Make sure you get Goodyear GT3 tyres.
And can i know the reason of booking ZXI over EXI ? I have felt that ZXI is not much greater than EXI (that is totally my opinion) and I think i should have went for the EXI and should have upgraded the stereo of my liking from the market.
If you're not fond of Coloured side mirrors etc, a bit of chrome, some cosmetic changes, defogger and rear wiper than I suggest you go for EXI and save 20-30k.

Just went into details of the problem and its a known / old problem. It was the tyre issue of Apollo that was coming with Figo in first batch. That has not been discontinued and you should get Goodyear and you will NOT face any such issue, so please go with confidence and book the car.
