Another Rata (Means Rat in Spanish) from the Tata. Review on Tata Nano

In this time of hype, excitement, criticism etc. I thought that I would throw in my 2 cents also about the Super-Hyped Tata Nano. Basically the bottom line is that Car will FAIL after it comes on road. The hype will fall, the excitement will die and the response will become negative in every aspect. Of course there are some people who never learn.

Now the question is that why there's so much hype for this car? Few reasons:

1. First the wait people had to do. Curiosity kills the cat(This is what really going to happen)

   
   




2. The PRICE(The biggest reason). The 1 Lac price is also for the first batch only and then it will be increased. Already the top model costs 1.85 Lac which is crap!

   
   




3. The lies(Nano is bigger than 800) How it is bigger? Nano doesn't have a dickey(boot space) to keep stuff that's why the space is bigger. It has only space to keep a spare wheel and a toolkit. So you cannot keep the luggage anywhere which means that you cannot go long distance etc.

   
   

Negatives about this car:

1. 600cc engine - People are heavy in India and if 4 heavy people sit in the car how the heck its going to move and in case it moves then it will be pretty damn slow!

   
   




2. Very thin metal sheet, very low quality build of the car.

   
   




3. Accidental Prone.

   
   




4. Mostly people will buy the mid or top-end model, I don't see anyone buying the low-end model.

   
   




5. The booking system sucks.

   
   




6. Only 1 lac pieces of 1 lac?! Ain't it a joke?

   
   




7. The comfort, safety level is very very low.

   
   




8. Tata's car are famous for their weird sounds it start making and when a heavy car like Safari cannot stop it how will it not come in Nano.

   
   




9. Poor sales and after sales service.

   
   




10. No repair only replacement concept in the car which is going hit hard at a later stage when it will be too late.

    
    




11. Those who think they can go on highway with this dumbo, forget it man! Auto-rickshaw will give better performance.

    
    

Positives:

1. I really really only see 1 positive: The looks! Period.

So my suggestion to all the people who are getting so crazy about the car is to WAIT! Let it roll out in the market, see how it performs and other stuff. Don't get fooled like people were for Apple iPhone. In the end it also ended up in no-one's hand. Don't fooled by the LOOKS. Looks can be deceiving.
