The Hindi film, ‘D-Day’(India Strikes Back) is produced by DAR Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and has been directed by Nikhil Advani. The film writers are Suresh Nair and Ritesh Shah. The main star cast Arjun Rampal, Shruti Haasan, Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Sandeep Kulkarni. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have given the films’ music. The film was released on 19thJuly 2013. The film is about 5 warriors who are commissioned to bring back the Mafia Lord, Goldman(Rishi Kapoor) back to India. Iqbal Seth or Goldman heads the D-Company. The Chief of the Indian Research and Analysis Wing, Ashwini Rao(Nassar) appointed Secret Agent Wali Khan(Irrfan Khan) since 9 years to keep an eye on the activities of Goldman, India’s most wanted criminal. Wali Khan is to be helped by a team of an ex-Indian Army officer, Captain Rudra Pratap Singh(Arjun Rampal), a R.A.W. explosive expert, Zoya Rehman(Huma Qureshi) and Aslam(Aakash Dahiya) a Mumbai based thief in Pakistan who enter Pakistan as infiltrators to apprehend Goldman who is about to break the ISI protocol and attend his son’s wedding. Goldman is warned by a Pakistani General not to attend the wedding but he ignores him. On the day of the wedding, Wali Khan sees off his son and wife to London, for safety. Unfortunately, his wife and son are caught under suspicion by ISI authorities at the airport and abducted. The team’s plan to catch Goldman red-handed, at the wedding is disturbed when Goldman is informed about the arrest of Wali’s wife and son. Goldman takes them into his custody and the team escapes. They are hunted by the D-Company and find it hard to leave Pakistan. Zoya takes help from one of her contacts, Wali is broken the news of his wife and son. Rudra is seeking revenge from Goldman for killing his lover, Suraiya. He is strong and all determined to continue the mission. Goldman is careful and takes necessary actions for his safety. The wedding takes place as schedule. After the main ceremony is over, Goldman leaves the wedding venue in ISI security. An action-packed car fight happens between ISI and RAW agents. Wali loose his life in a deal with Goldman to meet his family. Rudra and Zoya catch Goldman at point blank and handed to Ashwini. Rudra shots him saying he is the ‘New Face’ of India.
