This is not yet another book on Climate Change. In my opinion, it seems to be one of the best researched, authentic and credible books on the subject that you can find out there. The book’s target audience is primarily the American citizens. The author attempts to draw their attention to t...Read more

The fully prepaid M.A.P package costed us close to Rs 3500/- per night for a couple. However, we did not find the hotel worth this price on any single aspect. Upon arrival,  our rooms were not ready for checking in (check in time is 12 noon and we arrived at the hotel at 2:30PM) after a 9 hou...Read more

It was disappointing to see that the review text was copied straight from another website 'mobile-review.com'. Whats the point in copying a review done by someone else and pasting it onto mouthshut.com ?

Bought VXi in Jul'05, have driven it over 5000kms, have been thru first 2 services. With careful driving, mileage is 13-14kmpl, have driven it upto 135kmph - runs with rock solid stability though wind noise even with windows rolled up is high. The seats are spacious enough to give you that big-car f...eel. Yes, the boot is small and plastics are shoddy but then who else gives you a head-turner, sporty car like this for 4.5 lacs. And if someone else does, well go for it and enjoy :-)Read More

On what basis have you written that the mileage/average of Esteem and Swift are the same !! The Swift has been on the road for hardly a few weeks. Two owners with whom I talked, shared that the mileage was anywhere beteween 10 to 12 kmpl which is much worse than what an Esteem is capable of.

I have been speaking to Swift owners (while I am in the waitlist) and have got a feedback of mileage being anywheer between 10 to 12 kmpl with intermittent use of AC in city conditions. At this mileage, I believe its worth considering other options e.g., Corsa Sail 1.4 which offers a magic carpet r...ide quality OR Ford Josh 1.4 OR Corsa which has wonderful interiors and of course Getz which is a little expensive but worth it with its high quality interiors and excellent space management (its rear seats have a 60:40 fold plus they can be double folded to create a large boot area) . I would be keen to hear from any new Swift owners their feedback about its mileage.Read More

I was hoping to see some feedback based on some facts/usage that could prove useful in deciding the worth of Swift but did not get much information in this review.

I think you got turned off just by the plastic and a weak horn. Those can't be the only reasons for someone to write off Swift.

Hey Rohit, I test drive Hyudai's Getz also - its worth checking it out if you are considering Swift. Getz is a little more expensive but then its interiors, upholstery, rear legroom and smart boot space management compensate the price. Do try it out.

Folks, I test drove Maruti's Swift Vxi model last week. My experience is as follows: The car's looks are impressive and as you approach it - it looks big, really big. However once you step in, you wonder where all that space went. I believe the car has been bloated (DOORS etc) to probably make i...Read more
