Story:

The scene starts at the US Consulate in Istanbul with an American embassy resembling a fortress without a moat and where birds don't fly. The changing America with a quote by Gurucharan Das.

The era we are entering will be one of enormous social, political, and economic change-driven in large part from above, from the sky, from Mother Nature. The world's flora and fauna are getting depleted very fast, almost exponentially. The largest fresh water dolphin in the yangtze river, baiji, is extinct.

The developed countries are emitting a large amount of carbondioxide into the atmosphere. But the developing countries like India and China are following closely behind. India has a roaring construction business.

China offers a partly capitalisic market. Can red china become green china? There are 205 easy ways to save the earth. We are back to the age of Noah. Noah's Ark has to be rebuilt to save humans and animals from Nature's fury.

The truth has to be accepted that there is Energy Poverty in a hot, flat and crowded world. The only solution is to strengthen the villages. The stone age did not end because we ran out of stones. We still spend very little on R&D and we can remember the quote from Henry Ford, "If I'd asked my customers what they wanted, they'd have said a faster horse".

The divide between countries is increasing. Indonesia churns out only 6000 PhD's a year from a whopping population of 237 million. They just do not stress enough on education. Maybe we would have a million Noahs with a million Arks.

I bought the book at the nearest Crossword outlet. We can just flash a card and buy a book of our choice these days and earn a good number of points. But how far are we going to practise what we learn't from the book! A good point to deliberate on and.

A must read for everyone who is interested in climate change and reforms!
