about the brakes, i have consistently found it reliable and assuring. I trust the braking system in Sunny and have found it perfect in many close situations in the trafffic. Rest be assured there.. @sugu1105 - i would recommend a brake check for your car becoz u r still unsure there..

Do not forget that most diesel cars have a high torque that is useful in quick braking. But at low speeds , this high toque braking can give you a jerked feeling making the drive less pleasurable...the torque is steady at most rpm..

I have owned a innova Petrol for 2 years now and I agree that the noise level increases substantially as you cross the 110 KMPH mark (the stereo audio level setting have be increased from 14 to 28 !)

why not call the 1-800 number that the dealer would have stuck on the car and speak to Toyota directly. My van had a issue with the rear wiper from day 1 and after 3 visits and 1.5 years , it was rectified with no cost , just because i complained to Toyota. You will get a call in 15 minutes !

what is your impression on the ride quality of the Zxi? I read that the low grade rubber was not very helpful.. Lower speeds? Higher speeds? What about the suspension - did you find them very soft?
