I purchased a G4 Diesel, 8 Seater in November 2007, from UTTAM TOYOTA.. Total Kilometers is 6282 untill now. Till the first service it was ok.
But after the first service of 1000KMs at UTTAM TOYOTA , NOIDA Service center and with the nut changing in differential (as per TOYOTA notification drive) a problem of swaying started .
I notified them immediately . They tried to rectify it, after two visits they did an alignment adjustment without wheel balancing. This replaced the original problem with a bubbling problem, when ever the vehicle goes over minor road patches like asphault wear in Fly overs( but with the concrete surface intact), it gives a bone jarring rattling feel with much discomfort.
I took the vehicle to Galaxy Toyota service center in Okhla, Delhi they carried out detailed checks and gave me a very patient hearing. Took the car in a test drive and did a wheel balancing job with some weights adjustment. How ever the problem of bubbling has only shifted in position. Earlier it was very discomforting to sit in the left second row seats and third row, now it is very persistent and acute in the Front seat next to the driver. The tyres have been interchanged from rear to front after 5000 KMs
The problem is so acute that our family members refuse to be seated in the front seat and and road conditions even without patches give me scares that I slow down and get abused/dirty looks by fellow city drivers in the office rush hours. The shocks in roads echo a rumble inside with severe shaking and bone jarring experience.
I must confess earlier bfore 1000 KMs it was a pleasure to be in a long drive before the first service, but now I rue my choosing this vehicle.
Off the record one service center mechanic said it is abnormal tyre problem but there is no sign of abnormal wear in the tyres.
Look forward to experinced folks advice on possible remidies. TIMU
