Well written review kudos for that, but it's always a mistake when you are pre occupied with some 'pre conceived notion' in this case Pakistan & Islam endorsement and Hindu bashing, well then you are mistaken coz this was not at all the case with this movie. Sorry to say your good writing skills doe...sn't match with the reasoning skill (not in general but just for this movie, don't take it personally pls). In your effort to rubbish the movie, you forgot to take into account the stupendous performance of Aamir Khan in Bhojpuri Alien accent. Rather this movie displayed exuberantly the idea that when someone else takes over your mind it becomes difficult to reason with your mind by urself, this was shown in the movie when Saurabh Shukla's influence that a 'Pakistani will always deceive' made so much Impact on Anushka's mind that despite loving Sarfaraz so much, she went away from the registrar office without using her mind this is a typical CG Jung case, well if u had read Carl Jung then u will understand that this is a part of 'Mind Game' played so that your mind's remote gets into some one else's hand but u took it as an advertisement and defence for Islam & Pakistan and the fact when Aamir says 'in our planet, we interact with mind without speaking' , it goes on to show that the filmmakers had done their homework really well, many psychics have talked about the life in Spiritual realms that may exist in some other planets which in Hinduism is known as Svar Lok. I think movie deserved a lot of appreciation for taking a sensitive issue head on, your reasoning to under rate the movie seems to come from a 'personal reason' of your religion's criticism, rather it should be based on mere entertainment and in this movie's case entertainment & enlightening factor.Read More

Such an amazing book , you should have written more explaining that how it transformed your life. We all in today's time are in dire need of inspiration & spirituality as with coming of new age we get more lost in materialism.

@ patil91_ashish you could have thrown more light on the movie but I still give your review a thumbs up because your opinion parallels the popular and the correct one.. Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya pradesh , Goa have made this movie tax free.. hence even Govt. is encouraging to watch it..

actually your review goes on to proove that one should not watch pirated movies.. Hence down with piarcy.. when you are criticizing a movie (a good movie indeed) do mention some valid points and basis that why you didn't like it.. there are many even on this forum who also didn't like the movie but ...they had expressed and written in efficient manner.. Again same advice don't watch the downloaded movies... if one misses the movie he should wait for it's release of original DVD... the sound quality, picturization all ads to the overall experience of the movie.. you can study the way @vimarshmunsif ,@akritionline have written their reviews on the samethough they didn't likeit but both had written good reviews on movieRead More

@vimarshmunsif well yes opinion differs but it's not right na to have different opinions on the same subject.. let's stick to Coach part of BMB which you raised .. now who knows that in reality Milkha's coach must b knowing all his story.. as it happens usually that when you train under somebody he ...becomes your mentor , your guru and we tend to share many things even our personal lives with him.. so my point was that the same thing when shown in another movie also should have been noticed by you but because you liked the movie overall hence that scene became the best scene for you.. just a pointer that your liking for the movie changed the whole scene's meaning for you... but I am not criticizing that scene that was indeed the best scene of the movie..Read More

The movie was fairly good.. but just to point out that how much a personal likes/dislikes can affect an opinion about the movie... for e.g you write here: 'Editing is one of the highlights of this film. Aarif Sheikh and Unni Krishnan have done a tremendous job especially the scene in which Arjun Ram...pal shows what Shruti Hassan would have gone through in the end. It seems so real. A full movie could have been made on this track and plot.'... I agree that was one of the best scene of the movie (I just loved it because the song was also good)... but now why don't you argue that 'HOW ARJUN RAMPAL KNEW THAT AND HOW THE IMAGINATIONS COME IN HIS MIND AS HE ARRIVED THERE AFTER HER MURDER?'.. see it for yourself bro that how your opinion differs on same topic.. at BMB you made a balloon of the issue that 'HOW THE COACH KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE LIFE OF MILKHA SINGH' but here i don't see you criticizing the movie on that point rather you go on to say that that was the best scene of the movie just bcoz you have personally liked this movie... No offenses bhai but just a pointer that how a personal like/dislike can impact someone's review... but on most of the points I agree with you.. it's a good review... keep writing...Read More

Attacking India's No. 1 most wanted in his home inside Pak will be a dream come true. Most of the Indians like me are dreaming for that day since Osama's execution, the movie should be gripping as you put it through your review.

@vimarshmunsif I agree you didn't like it, many others also didn't like it , i also agree that movie could have been much better.. but I disagreed mainly with the title , it is not at all Uninspiring.. It's just that you didn't find it entertaining enough. talking about inspiration just imagine for ...a sec. that losing parents , home , land in just a moment then coming to an unknown place struggling for survival.. then rising to heights and more heights earning a title 'Flying Sikh' hence it cant be in any way uninspiring. The reasons of coach knowing everything, sister not getting old enough also wondering how she survived partition, farhan's voice, seems childish reflecting pessimism hence cant be justified to give movie a thumbs down. Now , talking about Pakistan race, the movie's storyline actually revolved around Milkha's connection to Pakistan.. The movie conveyed the message that the same Pak which gave such a big scar to Milkha became the reason for his lifetime title :Flying Sikh: it actually portrayed the journey of Milkha Singh from a poor refugee(reason::pakistan) to earning of that title(again reason::Pakistan). I don't have any intention to let you down or to disrespect your likes/dislikes it's just my take on your review on a movie which I found inspiring and awesome. Anyways keep writing bro.. thanks for your reply on my commentRead More

@Akritionline you have the right to say and feel about the movie the way you felt it. there is no denying of the fact that the length could have been shortened a bit (45 mins or 15 mins that can be dabated) but still for me movie delivers what people hoped for, shortening of length , editing can't m...ake the movie unwatchable.. it can just reduce the star rating from 5 to 4 or 3.5.
