OH MY GOD! Well don't confuse it with my reaction for this movie. A movie with the same title came two years back taking a very contentious & serious issue head-on, Pk is another addition talking about the same subject BUT in different manner & perspective in it's own style.

With recent incidents of Hisar involving a Police and Rampal's supporters stand off, dreadful terror strike in Peshawar in the name of faith killing innocent children, the topic of blind faith and religious beliefs and finding the meaning of god & true spirituality in our everyday life has certainly become a topic of discussion of our drawing rooms, bedrooms, living rooms and mostly with our own selves.

This movie adds another flavor to viewing these things from a more logical and practical perspective when it comes to religious practices and blind beliefs.

At any point this movie never disappoints however the topic and subject seemed old with OMG! already having the first mover advantage in this Genre. But despite that this movie holds on with us in it's unique way and with Aamir Khan in fray, you can hardly afford to miss it.

Movie is full of comic sequences and confusions faced by an astronaut visiting Planet Earth.

Talking about 2014 according to me this movie stands apart from other major Bollywood flicks and this time in Khan's race I have no hesitation in declaring Aamir Khan a clear winner.

It's difficult to make critical analysis of the movie because this will completely depend on individual taste, but that's for sure no one will come out from Theatre disappointed, there four major points on which I will rate the movie.

Scriptwriting

Exceptionally well, no topic requires more attention in today's India than blind faith. This is the best part of the movie, the filmmakers, cast has got an excellent script to work upon.

To be precise Movie was like a fictional novel containing a deep hidden message and like a typical classy novel forces you to think at the end of it.

Performances

With Aamir, Anushka, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla in the main cast supported by Sanju Baba any words words of appreciation will be less for overall performance, it is more than satisfying with Anushka fine tuning her skills more this time (maybe Virat Kohli effect). But anyone who stands out and completely apart from all others is none other than Aamir.

How many times we have seen these lines in Aamir's appreciation, but we run short of lines and words as the limitation of language won't allow us to expresses more about the talent of this little legend which we have in our industry.

He is a treat to watch with his Bhojpuri accent this time. It was nice to see Sanjay dutt  laugh around too after seeing him cry after that heart breaking moment of him going to Jail.

Direction

You can smell, 3 idiots, lage raho munnabhai for sure. Mr. Hirani has developed a unique knack of telling the most difficult stories in a touching manner with a brilliant tadka of comedy and humor, this time he succeeds once more in binding the audience to their seats till the end though movie seems to loose it's grip towards it's final part but that's the style of Mr Hirani.

Overall he falls just one short of his A+ performance this time but satisfactorily ends up with an A grade.

Reality Check

Yes this a another major point for which this movie and it's makers deserve applaud. Religion has always been a sensitive issue, the dogmatic thinking of Indian society in general towards it's religious beliefs has always caused the directors to shy away from making such movie, but thanks to the makers of OMG.

Finally our Film Industry is coming out boldly and finding it's own way of expressing it's disapproval of fallacious beliefs, superstitions taking them head on. It definitely forces one to think on this topic seriously. Who should no watch this movie

This is another major important question, who should not watch? From my own perspective everyone must watch it, but then like any other movie this movie is bound to find it's own audience who will disapprove it.

Contemplating on this I can give some suggestions which may be of some help, hence important in deciding for not going for it.

1.) If you are actually not interested in seeing your faith(particularly orthodox Hindus or people associated with Deras) to be challenged openly.

2.)If you didn't like OMG.

3.)If you are a born Aamir-hater.

4.)If You hate Mr Hirani's genre.

5.)If u r a staunch non-believer of Aliens, Extra terrestrials But if you are looking for Family entertainer, a super on Sundays with your partner, with your mumy-papa or bro-sis, bhaiya-bhabhi, friends you will not be disappointed at all. And my suggestion will be to watch it for once at least.

Thanks a lot for reading, do leave your comments.

It will be very useful for me for improvement...
