Dear Maa, I watched a movie called Lunch Box today Well, theres no doubt that the movie was really well made and had a certain purity attached to it but the question that kept lingering in mind after watching it was- Life now a days is it this void? @bpositive68 thanks for ur comment and rating i need to ask you one thing why will i be biased against a national hero?Do i have any kind of personal grudge against him or anything....what he did for the country i m not denying it..who am i to do that? You didnt like my review thats your personal o...pinion and i respect it similarly i did not like the movie and i have given my honest opinion for not liking it..i think i have been failed by the writer and the director because they were unsuccessful in giving me a good movie and i have absolutely all rights to write what didnt like and what i didnt like is my personal criticism of the movie and not the real person.Read More

@Wayword...Agree to what you said, but still my feeling regarding BMB will not change.I have not liked the movie yes but the performances were brilliant screenplay lagged in more than one ways and so did the pace i think the director took long to say what he wanted to say he could have easily edited ...around 45 mins of the movie.. @wayword really i don't know how to explain this, for me while watching the movie it was not Milkha Singh the legend we know but Milkha Singh the protagonist of the movie was uninspiring because he failed to perform when it was really needed...its like you are passing with flying colours in all yo...ur term papers and then failing in your boards. His story is tragic but a real hero for me is the one who does not allow his tragedy to become a cause of his failure that is why i called it a lame excuse, a bad justification. Here again i would like to clarify i dont know anything about Milkha Singh personally and it was the duty of the director and the writer to make us feel the same kind of pain that the protagonist felt but they failed atleast for me,hence technically flawed...and just by winning a game against pakistan cannot make someone hero atleast not for i think larger perspective is needed... As for Farhan Akhtar i did mention about his accent :P Thank you again for your comments on my review...thanks :) Read More

@Wayword Thanks for those comments but trust me i have absolutely no prejudices, I am patriotic like anyone of you...but i m also a movie lover...and the protagonist of the happens to be a legendary figure and I am proud of him, my review is not about Milkha Singh but about a movie which was techni...cally flawed. of course i don't have ample knowledge about the legend and neither have i faced challenges that he has faced i m definitely a lesser mortal than him but its the movie not the person which is subject of criticism .... I want to put one question did u like the movie which took 3hrs and 7 mins of ur life...did it leave u inspired??if the answer is no then i think u ll agree with my review.. :)Read More
