What a crap review is this! Are you a real owner of this car? Or an envious owner of another brand? Or a marketing guy with another brand? Do you usually travel in a flight to enjoy the utmost comfort? There are an average of 7K people buying this car every month. You just sit on the road side, and ...blabber your mad words again and again. (At least you should have learned some better English!)Read More

In April 2009, Hyundai’s C-segment (Accent, Verna) domestic sales were around 2100 units, where as that of Maruti (SX4, DZire) was more than thrice of that - around 7000 units! Poor---lover, where are you? Come out with all those praises for Verna and 'advantages' of selling small number of cars!

Congrats Achin, for your new and fantastic possession! SX4 is such a good car, that all others who own other models in its range could only envy. Poor-lover, you are spitting venom here also. Go to hell with your Verna. I've one doubt, poor-lover: Did someone from Maruti got your anal?

Absolutely wrong, Mr Hyundai lover! In FY 2008-09, Maruti's Indian market share is 60%, and that of Hyundai is 20%! (According to SIAM, total cars sold: 1200000, Maruti: 722400, Hyundai: 240000.) If your statistics are true, Maruti's share will be nowhere near to these figures. And Hyundai woul...d have reached 40%, as they are here for last 10 years! You don't need to know 'rocket science' to calculate this. Hahaha.Read More

In the present era of high fuel prices, a difference of 4 KM per litre is a big difference. Whatever be the Hyundai people is trying to make the public believe, many people in this country is concerned about the mileage. Hyundai people are trying to create too much talk on the build quality than ...mileage and safety, but we know, there is not much difference between a car with average build quality and a car with good build quality when it comes to an accident. It all depends on how safe you drive, and what all safety features are available in the car. For an average Indian, a car with A-Star like mileage, build quality and space, is enough for his day-to-day use. He is neither a highway racer all the time, nor the one who keeps his car for more than 6-7 years. He is more concerned about mileage, maintenance cost and style. A-Star delivers in these grounds.Read More

Hey Hyundai-lover, while trying too much to promote Verna, don't be in double stands. I'm getting 15KMPL for MY SX4 (95% of my driving is on Chennai OMR highway), not for someone else's car. Then you say that someone else's case - that 'showroom guys etc say 13-14'. And when I told my friends had... those issues, then you say that 'I have to talk about my own car'. What blunder are you blabbering you crooked Hyundai sales guy? And you said 'Back seat very uncomfortable for long drive due to higher seating'? Then ofcourse you may be belong to the dwarfs of Lilliput! For me (and most others), a high seating position gives more comfort over low seating position. And those who drive regularly on highways usually use diesel cars. Those Vernas and Fiestas you see there are mostly diesels. Anyway, you should be here to see the sales figures of Verna, once a diesel SX4 is launched this year. Or will you just vanish in air as you did when Hyundai's total C-segment sales figures including Accent and Verna went down to a mere 1078 units in last December?Read More

Hey poor-car-lover, you only told in a previous post that SX4 sales is 85% of total C-segment sales by Maruti. That means, 975 SX4 out of 6500. Then how can you reduce the numbers after each post? Fool you are! Then regarding annual sales, Hyundai got higher numbers only on export basis - not on ...domestic growth. 9-10 KMPL for SX4? You should be a race car driver to get such a poor mileage. My SX4 gives me 15KMPL regularly. Heavy price for a 4-seater car? SX4 is much cheaper, and better than Verna in terms of back seat space. Check your knowledge base. And for your info: Here I post 2 examples: One of my friend bought a Santro over WagonR (he says) 4 years back, and still he's repenting his decision - it gives just 12 KMPL mileage only! Another friend bought a Swift 3 years back, and after he moved to Chennai, his father was using it. Father felt that Swift is a bit bulky to use in cities, so my friend bought an i10 for them three months back. Now, you know what his father says? Eventhough i10 is leaner than Swift, he like to drive Swift in city, because it gives more pleasure and safety feeling! Moreover, Swift gave him 14KMPL in city, and i10 gives him 12KMPL only! Also, my friend told that the quality of music system in i10 is very poor! Once your job in Hyundai sales showroom is over for today, come back and reply.Read More

You are right, Hariharan! Poor Hyundailover is really blind praising Hyundai. Seems that he is a marketing guy for Hyundai. If you check this forum itself, you can see a lot of problems and comments associated with Verna, like: the most basic and plasticky looking of the lot, the crude vibratio...ns, the space inside the car is nothing great, shape overall, that of a toy car, drive position was a shocker, too small boot area, dullest interior among the competition, highly priced car among the competition when the features are compared, etc. The only advantage of Verna is its power. But what a cheap manufacturer like Hyundai is asking for that, is a very high premium. Greedy Hyundai.Read More

Hay car'lower', please refer: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Business/India-Business/Hyundai-trails-in-sedan-segment/articleshow/4133177.cms Hyundai struggling in midsize segment. Also, considering only the domestic sales, Hyundai sold only 1680 units in Jan 2009. If we assume 50% sales... for Verna and remaining for Accent, Verna sales is just 800 units. If 85% of Maruti sales is from Dzire, SX4 sales is around 1000 units. Verna looses here by 200 units! Don't be a blind Hyundai fan, man. Hyundai pretends to be a premium brand by overpricing their cars. Eg: i10, i20, Verna, Elantra, Sonata.Read More
