I gone for long drive near to bathinda, it was to and fro 415 KM. out of this nearly 50km was in in the city. AC use was only 20-30%.
Speed 60kmph to 80kmph. Car was very smooth on the highway, No back pain in full drive.
good brakes, two times I required instant 80kmph to a STOP.
I got full tank (upto brim) before drive and after drive again upto the brim from same filling station. fuel consumption was 17.64L and a good milaege of ~23.5KMP. Overall a very good car for me. KMs completed so far:- ~2600KM
My first review (after 1st service):-
I brought this car after a detailed studies of all car models below 5.2 lac., my main requirement was petrol car with good mileage, I taken almost 20 test drives of A-Star, i-10 (Asta), Spark, Vista(petrol), WeganR, ZEN Estileo, Alto.
I liked the driving comfort in 3 cars only which were A-Star, i-10 (Asta), Zen Estileo. I liked ABS system, even in test drive I tested this at 90KMPH with instant hard breaking. It was amazing. so I focused on two cars only A-Star (Zxi) and i-10 (Kappa ASTA), as I liked one feature which was not available in i-10 was Smart Key (immobilizer). also in reviews about i-10 I seen that the best mileage with i-10 was coming upto 15kmpl after 2nd or 3rd service.
Also with same features of A-Star(Zxi) i-10 (Asta) was meeting and i-10 was much costier than A-Star and even for my small family space in A-Star was just suffucient. I Tried keeping 26" VIP suitcase in standing position...it was perfectly ok.
So I finalized A-star........Upto 1st service it was giving me 13-14 kmpl, I was surprised after 1st service.......My car given 19.2Kmpl (without AC) in city of chandigarh with lots of traffic lights. I also asked the maruti service engineer to test with their Mileage testing instrument, and with the instrument on chandigarh roads it given 19.5Kmpl (without AC) .Upto this time I have completed 1100 Kms.......will write again when I will go for Highway.
