Good review on a great movie. This movie is nearly 20 years old now, and it`s price is still above 15 Pounds in some places, meaning that it still has not lost its value. I know many many many films of this era (2000 onwards), selling at 3-4 pounds, but TRIDEV is an exception. I guess this s...hows that it is one of the best movies of its time! -KrishRead More

I saw the movie preview of Provoked on TV yesterday on the news. Aishwarya was also live with us and I followed her interview with the TV presenter. + there was also an interview and past cliches of the trauma that mrs kiran ahluwalias had to go through. I was let-down by all the unnecessary ...situations she faced, however she could have just divorced him and end the matter.....but it got so complicated and had a devastating effect in the end.... Look, what I am just trying to say, is that this movie which is being made, PROVOKED seems too melodramatic for what actually could have been in real life. They clearly have dramatised this and it may have a bad outcome for the movie overall. I don`t like movies which are too `heavy` to watch, epecially that the songs (it might not have any), may not be good. This movie focusses too much on one subject and as there`s Mrs Aishwarya in it, it can be biased. That`s why I am not too keen on this movie because I believe that mrs kiran ahluwalias`s story could have been made in a better and more entertainining way that what it seems! This movie is just a reharsh of American movies about domestic violence in the 80`s, and I have a strange feeling of some overacting from Aishwarya Rai.....I can predict that!!! -KrishanRead More

I do not agree with what you said about this website. Mouthshut.com was firstly created to provide HONEST and ORIGINAL reviews, purely based on the facts. What I have noticed is that there are some members who are not keeping that respect on this website. I have had some arguments in the past... with a few of them. I think they must be banned from this website as they want to make people believe the wrong things. That is UNWISE and I know they are minority on this website. The fact is that we are all intelliegent enough to know the facts, so we MUST be able to discard some members who are SPOILING this website! So I disagree with your viewpoint dew! By the way, let me just tell you, that....Mouthshut is not a `bible`, as you`ve referred to it. It`s infact supposed to based on PERSONAL experiences and on the PURE facts. -And I`m sure it`ll always remain that way. I really hope in that respect, that our Faisal will take some drastic action against thise culprits, and it`s never too late! -ShahRead More

The songs `Tumhi Hamari Ho Manzil...` and `Bin Tere Sanam` both recorded in 1989, were lifted from their first album (Rythym of Love) for the movie Yaara Dildara, released December 1991. News has it, that it was because of lack of popularity and determinatuion to show their real talent that the song...s had to be put into a movie instead. The song picturisations are not bad at all....Pure Romance of the early 90`s!!!!Read More

I never really believed in that stuff. To be a star writer, basically, it`s quantity you MUST have, not necessarily quality. But, yes, some of his reviews are obviously copied from websites. The thing I`m surprised about, is that even if he copied these reviews, the websites, which are copyright... protected have taken no action against him. In that respect, I think he is a lucky guy and we have NO RIGHT to question about the authencity of his reviews. Some day, somewhere in the world, a website representative will surely ask for an explanation from Faisal. He MUST take some decisions about certain reviews which are clearly signs of PLAGIARISM!! As long as they are good and helpful, they will be rated highly. That is the logic behind this issue. Anyway, what do you think about me as a writer, pal??? -KrishRead More

I`ve already ordered a new PC, and it`s very up-to-date, as it has many additional features which makes it future-proof. I`m also getting Windows Vista free upgrade, an opportunity for me that I will NEVER miss! If Windows XP was good, Windows VISTA is EXCELLENT. Just read on the Windows VISTA of...ficial website, from US Company MICROSOFT and grasp all the benefits of the operating system. Technology changes fast nowadays, and something which is not new! So, why not replace a 128RAM with a 512 one??? And it`s becoming so popular, that the price is also dropping significantly since it was first launched. -ShahRead More

Well this phone is old now, and has been discontinued in England and France for various reasons. Firstly it wasn`t that popular and had an awkward design and was more expensive to manufacture than the price the dealers were actually asking for at the time. I can`t quote a current price for th...is phone, but am sure that now, if they were to sell it in India and other parts of Asia, the price would be half the amount you spent on it, dude!Read More

I never thought a movie director of his calibre would lead to so much controversies man!! my favourite movie from him was SADAK (1991), but that too because it focussed mainly on Sanjay Dutt. I believe his movies of the early 90`s were only superhits because of their music at the time. That`s ...because there were better artists like Nadeem Shravan, Kumar Sanu, Sadhna Sargam and Udit Narayan. Nowadays, these artists have faded away and new ones lack talent! His daughter was never a great actress anyway, yaar! And I hate Bollywood movies of nowadays, infact most of them have lost track/trend, and I prefer european/american movies at this time. Good facts, most of them I was unaware of. However, let`s just stress that even if a bollywood star is rate with 5 stars, THAT SPOILT MAN IS NEVER PERFECT!!! -KrisRead More

Katrina Kaif I believe, is very beautiful when it come to `on screen`. I don`t think she`s really that gorgeous, when it comes to real-life. Some girls look good in real-life, and `on-screen` too, but they do NOT always look same (because of several layers of make-up, but this is how films are made,... man!), meaning that there are more beautiful girls than her today. (But obviously, stay at home, instead of making films!!!!) And, Katrina is not a goddess according to lifestyle either..... But I like her very much............. Rated your review, cuz it has COOL info, was quite unaware abt!!!! hahah!!! -Krishhhhh............Read More

Kumar Sanu is the BEST!!!! I`ve a very very big collection of his songs, right from the 80`s to early 2002!!! Surely, a lot of people like to criticise this great man for his mindblowing success in Bollywood over the years. However, what they forget is that it took him quite some time, and... an awful lot of experience and hard-work to reach this level. Call it jealousy or hatred, but we`re still part of the majority who believe that KUMAR SANU is the BEST!!! He has a voice which suits an actor, the melody of each of his songs are really unique, infact so much, that as he`s faded away for quite some time now, I`m afraid we will never get the great songs he contributed immensely to. (I mean today and for the future) I REALLY MISS KUMAR SANU.... -KRISHAN SHAHRead More

I`ve said it many times, Yaara Dildara had Aasif Sheikh and Ruchika Pandey as main stars. I don`t remeber Dharmendra, he wasn`t in that movie. These were actors like Amjad Khan, Shakti Kapoor and Kader Khan. A very nice review, and thankz 9kni9 for quoting my review on this web-page. BIN T...ERE SANAM is from YAARA DILDARA. That`s for sure and will always be, set the records right for anybody who don`t know much about the background of the song. Nadeem-Shravan..... I like the style their music has always had, but I think that the time they composed music in their prime for, is over now. But, I like all songs from Salaami, my favourite album of Nadeem-Shravan. I consider SALAAMI to be the best album composed by the duo, but you mentionned... way too later in your review.....you must have a reason, otherwise I think that all it`s songs were outstanding and deserved to be in the first few songs of your list, before other less-likeable! : This has absolutely nothing to do with preference for any movie or person, but it must be recognized as one of their best in their career. -KrisRead More
