Ha ha... guys this is a perfect example of 'GRAPES ARE SOUR', there are many people like 'anooj81' who never own a FIAT Grande Punto, may be marely a A or basic B segment car driver, but still talk about FIAT service by taking data from past.... Brother I am driving this car now 16000 KM and it is m...y 3rd car in India, and 6 th including abroad. I never faced any issue reagrding servicing from FIAT , ... Guys my car clocked 12, 000 KM + in 5 months, ready to go for 15K service, last month went to Hyderabad 576KM started at 4:00 AM Bangalore reached 12:30 AM .. streached to 130-140 KM/hr .. AC ON .. result ... Smmooooth. Milage got AVG 22KM/Ltr (figure seems little less may be due to so high speed an...d racing to all the potential vehicle I meet during the journey ..).. I had a similar experience with Prerana Motors, thus came to Concorde,... haha it is completely depends on situation and luck of that day. I lerned it hard way from several dealers across bangalore.. from Hyundai to Mitsubishi.. every one is same. they are pretend good sometime but sometime they are... the worst people to deal with. Toady I came to germany Karlsbad, and saw lot of grande punto... man its amezing feeling when I saw the same car same colour cruiseing in German motorways which I have back at home in my gurage.. only difference that runs on busy Sarjapur ring road... hahaha

Don't give us uk story... i think you are a student.. working in some part time in shops.. and in uk a begger can effort a used car.....first get the potential to buy a car in india then you give all those story.. and feedback. we are talking about indian market... please stay away.

Now my car drove approx 1200KMs in one month time.. guess wht.. with all time AC i spend Rs.2600-2800 diesel only. in my previous car it was 7000-8000K of petrol

If you are taking petrol go for 1.4 for good power , 1.2 only for those who only looks milage but will fell like underpower (Same as Alto with AC), yes of course you can put all those accessaries anytime.

Check whether dealer gave you their test drive vehicle. Because no one complaint about these things... and the car is truely an eye turner. Reliability is anyday better than Maruti. But I can understand one thing there is a serious attitude and service issue of CALCUTTA dealers, they believ in mangi...ng things somehow than a complete solution. I am from Calcutta and I had experienced Calcutta delers in terms of service, now I am experiencing Bangalore dealers they are way ahead in customer service and do things right at first time itself. Thus I can guess your situation little more than other readers.

A real good car, I am owing this car(Opel corsa Sail 1.6) since last 5 years , it never let me down for a single day.. Just routine engine oil airfiler change once a year and drive.
