u must wonder where one must draw the line... Its the border line between colorful and tacky. While I agree that the movie wasnt tacky, when its being touted as a great attempy by an Indian director...I beg to differ. Cause there is somebody called Manoj Shyamalam. His movies stick to the story l...ine like glue.. his movies dont rely on anything but pure ingenuity in script to get ur attention. THAT is how u make a great movie.Another great movie maker is Shekhar Kapoor. If ur saying, well he's technically not indian... sorry but in this regard nationality is a term we should treat losely. In any event should this be talked of as an international attention grabbing 'hindi' movie a total Indian effort.. there the plot is lost.. this movie does not portray India as it is was or ever will be. It would have been a real bold effort should he have used pure Indian settings... Girish Karnad now he does it best. We have a mix bag of rich culture .. and yet what is portrayed was so western... did u see Aishwarya Rais costume.. a fur coat!!!! ... we hardly see those now, let alone back 'then'. If being western was the objective, atleast get the blend right. here it was off .. waaay off. But like I said great acting and emotional script are its plus points.Read More

The review was great.... but I didnt quite think the movie deserved all that attention. It was a misdirected movie if u ask me. Where is the setting for the movie. (story-wise) is it in India?.. Indians in the UK?... UK in India?... In the ENTIRE movie, there was one lady dressed in a sari.. all th...e rest wore english costumes... they were English to the core....the whole ensemble.... down to the hats . The buildings were strictly European!!.. forgive me but they've hijacked India and dropped it off some place in europe!. There was a party with a 'scat' singer!!!!!! that took the cake! lol! The movies saving grace is a GREAT story line.. with such deep meaning and some impeccable acting by Rani Mukherjee. Even AMithab Bachan excercising his vocal crods... didnt impress much.. although he did the alzymers bit very well. But all in all, unless time was twisted out of shape and history reinvented, India and indian people never looked like that.. that looks like an attempt to allow international viewers to identify with the movie. This has nothing to do with the review.. I thought that u did a great job, touched all aspects of the movie (even though I dont agree with a few) .. but I have a bone to pick with this movie!. here's the thing, DVD's (pirated ones) are available in multi-formats. So if u ar renting a DVD its quite possible that the DVD was custom made :) such formats will not play on any player, unless the player has embedded code to recognise these formats. And since DVDs still carry certain amount of le...gal mumbo-jumbo, Sony LG etc cant include these formats yet.Read More

here's the thing with Cell phone cameras. There is absolutely no way of making these camera phones 'good' and economic a compromise has to be made somewhere. The best camera phones have a max of say 1.5 MPixel resolution. If u were to take say 10 snaps , u would be draining the battery. So quite ...frankly its a feature u cant afford to use often unless u have a plug point near u. I was referring to the original Ngage not the QD. I feel the QD has some big compromises. And the memory in the new phone is the same as in the old. Its 3.5 MB. It has been redesigned and a lot of stuff removed to make it more compact. So if ur planning on getting urself an 'Ngage' go look for the original. I havent used WAP bu tI have tried the blue tooth and its great. My friend has GPRS on his Ngage (QD) and its good for regular use , but for gaming (ngage arena) u need high speed GPRS. The whole deal with the Ngage was to bring mobile entertainment to gamers. The phone is more like a gaming machine that can take calls. But the added features like MP3 , SYmbian OS , movie player FM etc make it a total package.Read More

well here is something u should know, I too am a Hathway user and I have bandwidth monitor pro to monitor my net usage. The thing is that my usage onthe software has always been more than what is shown at the hatway site...here are somethings u should try First go to the properties section of you...r net monitoring software and make sure that multple surces is checked.. do NOT monitor only your ethernet card.. u need to monitor the other protocols as well. If you have a TV tuner card make sure that the microsoft video communication is uinchecked.. this gives unnecessary spikes in ur monitoring software and mysteriously adds to the total download.. this is cause if the PCI interface I guess.Read More

I would suggest u not do this in windows 98 .. each time I instal the modem it works fine on that install but when I restart the com port shifts from com 3 to com 5... cant get it to revert.. but u can do this in XP

Ok avis B I'm gonna make ur wish come true.. ur phone is now full featured.. :D YEAH First download the T200 drivers Unzip to a folder Go to folder and run the setup file It will automatically detect and ask for a drver file location. Just browse to the folder where u unzipped cli...ck ok Now it will install the driver and ask you to restart the computer. Do it When you restart go to dial up metworking and make a new connection with the T200 as the modem Try a connection and you will notice that the phone lights up and ACTUALLY DIALS.. yup ITS ALIVE. Now if you want you can go to the control panel open modems select the T200 modem and click on more info it will query the modem and give you some details. But I dont know what the number is for airtel GPRS so I was unable to establish a connection I tried a VSNL no which it dialed and said computer not responding. But with the correct no I'm sure u can do it. There u go now dont boo me :D Read More

Well I cant share your feelings but there is something about the file you cant download. Were you aware that there is max limit for any download category. By category I mean rintones,pics,games etc. The limit for games is around 356 KB so once you reach that limit even if you have 300 KB total free ...memory u cant upload any more games. SO maybe you've exceeded in that category.Try deleting a file u dont need and then download your 5KB file.. it will work.Read More

Sorry but thats the most atrocious review on the Maruti Suzuki 800 yet. How can you expect quality at such dirt cheap rates. Your review is completely non-technical and makes no sense. Comparing 800cc engines of bikes to hat of a car is a big fat joke. How much does a car weigh?? oh yeah about 5 t...imes a bike and if u tried to push the car at the same HP u would get 1 kmpl. Compromises have been made to make an entry level car with a decent engine. If you were looking for something better u ought to spend a whole lot more and buy a better car. What makes a car perform at reving delights is not just the size but the materials used and the individual component design. If suzuki were to give you what u want an 800 cc engine capable of providing tons of BHP at phenomenal rev's the price tag would be appropriately high.Read More
