well , they cant reduce the advertisements, coz the money the earn through advertisements is unimaginable....
afterall everyones first preference these days is money...if not urs , if not mine then theirs...

Hi,
i read your article on Charlie's Angels and also the comments. Perhaps surprising for you, but something made me stop reading your article. That was the comment on National Anthem. As a citizen of this country, if you dont want to be a part of our National Anthem, dont be dear but elude from su...ch statements in newsletters. To be honest enough, read novels of the people who died just to give you freedom, or else today u might have been living a life of a slave. I repeat, if u dont like such things b4 movies, dont stand, thats ur personal choice, but dont make fun of it.

good write -up...but just an opinion as a reader..
write critic on the 'k serials..those soap operas but dont make it sound agitating or arrogant....that may unecessarily create dislike for u...for the ones who like a particular serial of hers..which is probably not that bad

Sir, I totally disagree on the allegation you made on 21st November regarding THE TIMES OF INDIA. Definitely positive considering your point of view, not a problem about that. The reasons I disagree:-
A) it isn’t for babes---- it is conservative in its STYLE . Mid- day, JLT are the kinds of... newspapers known for the younger generation.
THE TIMES OF INDIA IS DIVIDED MAINLY INTO BOMBAY TIMES, EDUCATION TIMES( MONDAYS) AND OTHER ADDED SUPPLEMENTS.
Your likes about the news depends on your interest.
Mid- day is known to have largest space for classifieds not THE TIMES OF INDIA( TOI). Matrimonials is part of every newspaper.
The positive point which sounds bizarre to me is you call around about 50 pages as raddi-------? If you flip through every page, you will come across the variety of knowledge they enlighten us in matter of 2.50- 3 rupees.
On politics, on education( career), letters to the editors where you can have a space for your own philosophies, sports, business, international, PAGE 3, and many –a times added knowledge about cars, fashion , or the well known people of Media—their experiences.
The one who is interested in gaining knowledge wont call THE TIMES OF INDIA as not worth.
Even today people read newspapers for news, where matrimonials and classifieds are part of it.
Definitely it is largest selling newspaper why?
THE TIMES OF INDIA on a week day cost publishers anywhere between Rs 7- 8 to bring out a newspaper. This newspaper is offered to the reader at Rs 2.50 or Rs 3. This shows how the benefit received from the advertiser is passed on to the readers.
Secondly, the content is definitely more compared to others. No editors are dunderheaded to publish film flam…or rubbish material in their newspapers. So obviously the news makes sense..
Talking about INDIAN EXPRESS---- it is aggressive in its style, which may sound interesting to the younger generation..having hot heating blood.
