Smoking----because of Stress?

Before a human does anything, there are various reasons of doing so. Take the topic of smoking, its hap hazards. We all know, how poisonous it is but still we consume it, why?


Psychological:-


A) Stress


B)moving with the trend( style)


C) friends circle


So are these the only 3 major reasons why one consumes poison? killing himself in installments.?


For the ones who smoke because they got tension and a stressful life:-


Understand that, let not your emotions rule, you rule the emotions because you are the BOSS. Meditation is the best way to elude from stress and strain. Once you have made your mind-set ready to medidate, believe me even the worst situation will be dealt cooly by you.


What is meditation?


Effortless awareness of ones true nature is meditation. It is not a particular action. It is neither the worship nor the chanting of name of lord with attributes.


Some think that when one sits still in a particular posture with eyes closed, one is meditating. But ie sitting still and not meditating.


Concentration is required for all actions, it empowers the mind with unimaginable strength and bestows unbelievable powers( Siddhi-s)


It helps you think one thing at a time by not making you crazy.


If you think you have too much of tension, stress then understand that who said everythings gonna work your way? just like human beings want a change.they cant carry a monotonous life. Same is the case with God.


EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.once you do so, nothing can affect you. Stop asking' WHY IT HAPPENS ONLY TO ME'-because when you ask' why' to god, he might answer you once but then you will come out with second question, that way you are getting into an argument.and god doesnt argue.


ask' WHAT HAPPENS TO GOOD PEOPLE, WHEN BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO THEM' .answer is THEY BECOME BETTER PEOPLE.


I am speaking all these things only because I have seen all my friends smoking.this way killing themselves, when asked why? ITS STRESS.


Moving with trend? if ie the case and you still want to continue smoking happily- there can be no words for this category. But if you want to then I highly recommend what brij told- drink as much water as you can, exercise from the day you left smoking.


Friends circle?- change the friends circle for time being. Once you are assured and confident nothing can influence you.you can join( only if you want)


Why killing others too.is what many people say.
