Dear Pravin I bought i20 Magna on 22 Aug 2010 and with-in just 2 months noticed sometimes a strange loud sound coming from engine/gearbox when you put the reverse gear and then put it back to neutral gear. The sound is notice with AC on. Now the dealer in Mumbai has OPENED the gear box and says he'l...l replace the faulty O-ring and one pin. BUT this is not acceptable from Hyundai. They must replace the gear box. In my old car which I am using for 10 year, we never had to open the gear box. Dear gauravsabbath It is purely single hand driven and has just clocked 900 KM. By the way I also have 10+ years / > 70,000 KM of driving experience on my previous car. Dear Friends, Update from dealer (One of the biggest in Mumbai): There is a problem in the gear box and they had opened the gear... box of just 2 month old car. There is some defect in the O-ring and they have ordered the part to be replaced. My biggest concern is that in my previous car in 10+ years we never had to have the gear box opened. Now in 2 months the gear box is opened and you know it will depriciate the value of car and may have other problems in the short or long term. I requested Dealer to speak to Hyundai and get the gear box replaced. He assured that he'll put this request to his service manager, but he can only replace O-ring. Dear All Readers Thanks for your hit count and comments, finally I managed to get the refund cheque yesterday from Club Mahindra. Though my opinion about and experience with Club Mahindra Mumbai Andheri branch is very BAD. However after persistent efforts displayed by Mr Rahul, I must admit... that there are some nice people too in Club Mahindra. Hi CP, Primary reason for cancellation 1. I was not informed on the annual charges. I felt cheated 2. I discussed with my friends and colleagues subsequently and almost all advised me against it and told me to do some surfing on net on others experiences. After that, I decided to withdraw. B...elieve me, I was not aginst club mahindra even when i decided to withdraw. However the pain I underwent in taking my own money back has now made me even averse to the idea of even thinking about CM.
