I would like to share my entire experience with Club Mahindra here. I also thank mouthshut, as their reviews have helped me taking a tough stand on Club Mahindra. Just like everyone else, I was lured by the very capable sales team of CM to take the membership. The biggest drawback is their after sales service. Their people can be very rude to u. Even the sales guy who did all the sweet talking before, will show his true colours on after sales query. First of all, my welcome kit took ages to come, I had to really follow up on it. The sales person sells the package without telling u the hidden clauses. Like, I was said that being a white season member I can go for red season by taking a 5 days cut in my holidays. But, he never said that I can try for booking only 15 days prior to date of holiday. And red season being the peak season u would never in ur entire life get a booking 15 day prior.Then I was denied a booking in my own season that too when I wanted to book 2 months in advance. The after sales service was pathetic. The personnel are never available. The phone lines are always busy.
Then, I read the reviews on mouthshut n made my mind to cancel the membership.Thankfully I had till then not utilised their services at all. I had though long back crossed the ten day period when u can get ur refund back. But, I never gave up, shooted a mail to their MD expressing my grievances. Had a series of phone discussions, mails but thank God that I managed to get my refund in a matter of 60 days.
I had taken this membership only because of the name "Mahindras", but they r no where close to the quality n service which their other businesses provide to their clients.
Beaware, Club Mahindra is just about cheating their customers. Or u have to really pre plan ur trip 6 months in advance to enjoy the package, which is very difficult. No doubt their resorts are good, I have seen the photographs of a friend who stayed there but they r over selling it in the market on a steep price without exactly having that kind of infrastructure rite now.
