Reviewed Five Worst Actresses of Bollywood Movies

Aug 24, 2003 10:20 PM 3471 Views

(Updated Aug 24, 2003 10:20 PM)

By no means am I a Bollywood connoisseur. I watch a precious few so-called hit movies a year, and that's that. But despite my sadly lacking filmi knowledge, I must admit that, while there are some excellent Bollywood actresses, there are some truly terrible ones as well. As the saying goes: When...Read more

You know I love your list, LOTR is on it. :) But joking aside, I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't read any of the other books on the list. (Must do so). Great list, great work, my comments are hopelessly repetitive because so is your high standard of writing. ;) - tinuviel

Loved, loved, loved this review! Seriously, this is probably my fav. that you've written so far. If the undead are this funny, count me in. :) Gotta go catch up on your other reviews...been away from MS for a while. Great work! - tinuviel

Sorry again! I can't seem to edit either. Hate this new layout.

This new layout of MS is really ineffective. I click submit once and it submits thrice. So sorry for messing up your comments page.

Looks like I need this book. Thanks for highlighting its features - it sounds rather motivating. Must get a hold of it. Thanks for a good review, - tinuviel

You, out of my mind! ;) It just seems like you wrote down exactly what I was thinking. Excellent review - I agree completely about dressing sensibly, dressing for the weather, and dressing with some shred of self-respect. Good work, - tinuviel

Maddy, You don't know me, but I have heard your name across MS very often, and always in the highest regard. Too bad you're leaving just when I started to see your work. Good luck with whatever you do in the future - and thanks for being that 'role model'. :) - tinuviel

Manojji: Thanks for the comments. I usually always read the books first before the movie - when I go vice versa, I tend to hate either the movie or the book passionately. On this topic, however, I don't think you would enjoy the sequel even if you didn't watch the first. The thing is, without ...any prior knowledge of the movie, the sequel will appear to be entirely brainless and silly. Content-wise, you won't have a problem following the story - it will just seem like a big 'Huh?!' at the end of it all. If you watched the original movie, you might understand its charm and then agree that the second ruins it. Either way, I'm sure that you wouldn't like the second movie. It just ruined a good thing. :) Thanks, - tinuviel ------------------------------------------- Gosh, I hate this new design. Read More

Manojji: Thanks for the comments, you have some valid points. When I said that the euphoria was fading, I think I meant that I was looking at everything with more of a critical eye than before. I'm sure this will improve as it goes along. When I said 'rulers', I guess I focused on the negative...s instead of the positives, which was the intention of my review. But you are right, there is responsibility that comes along with it, I just chose not to mention that. I guess my review was meant more to point out the flaws. I totally agree about the opinions issue, as I stated in my review. Rate the review, not the opinion...but I have noticed some (not too many) closedminded people who tend to rate reviews based on whether or not they agree with them. And you're right, in the end, comments matter more. Thanks so much for the comments and your opinion, - tinuvielRead More

Great job as usual. It's really hard to review music, in my opinion. There's not much you can really say about a song...but you sure found something. Nice work, - tinuviel

Congrats on making 50! This was a seriously funny review...great tips along the way. Did the Reeper really spare your soul? And are you serious about the beer? ;) Keep up the great work! - tinuviel

Reeper: Yeah, you missed the party. :p I knew you'd like Voldie...you undead people flock together. ;) I hope Ginny and Harry don't get together...blech, I'd hate to see that happen. I can't imagine them together at all. No matter how much we speculate, we probably haven't gotten close to the... real plot...Rowling is a trickster, she is. Never know what's up her sleeve. I do think Dumbledore will die in future books though. Just a hunch. - tinuvielRead More

Mariner: Yes, I'm having fun! And yes, you know me too well...I don't like the whole u/r/luv/ppl thing...but I never bark at people for it, so it's okay. Davieboy: Thanks for the comments. I have noticed some rulers, although I will never name names...they're not bad people, they just get more ...respect than they deserve for mediocre stuff, in my opinion. Thanks for the comments, - tinuvielRead More

Reeper: Thanks. You're smart not to watch this movie...and yes, once I'm in the mood, I can't stop. ;) Rahul: Thank you very much. Don't see this one unless you absolutely have to...I hated it, I'm sure you will too. Mosh: You're gonna see it even after my bitter diatribes? LOL...go ahead. ...:) Thanks for the comments. Rhea: Totally agree. Most of the sequels released this year were utter crap. And the whole Bruiser-is-gay thing was overdone. Thanks for the comments. Sita: Thanks! Yeah, don't bother with it. :) Suyog: Wow, thanks for the praise. I liked the first one...very chick flicky, but there you go. This one was unbearable, and you're smart not to watch it. - tinuvielRead More

Rhea: Thank you so much for the lovely comments - glad I hit the nail on the head. Someone had to say it. ;) Spooks: Thank you so much! You guys are way too nice to me. And yes, people should advise newbies - I too was one once and would never have made it this far if you guys hadn't corrected ...me. :) - tinuvielRead More

Nicki: I don't understand what you mean about 'different stages' - can you clarify that? I too would hate everyone to write in the same style...but I just think that an honest rating is one step closer to getting good writing. Thanks for the comments. :) Esgallindeion: You're way too nice to me...! Thank you so much for the nice comments...glad you agree. :) I remember my first review too...you guys pointed me in the right direction, and I'm so glad for that. - tinuvielRead More
