hi bro. i own FZ since the day it was launched in Tamilnadu. The battery is mere 5 Amps compared to 7 Amp of Pulsar. The crank motor is actually a lot smaller, and consumes lesser power when compared to the huge motor in pulsar. this is to reduce battery drainage. and i have found a way to just st...art your bike without battery.... FZ was designed by yamaha with a second way to start the bike without battery...just ask that to you yamaha dealer. Or else PUT YOUR FZ IN MAIN STAND. KEY IN ON POSITION, FIRST GEAR APPLIED..
