Character 1: 300 was ok. A story without a soul. But slick production values, great colour palette, excellent graphics. However a story wasted. I’d give the film 2.5 stars out of 5. Character 2*: You are being harsh. 300 teaches you valour. It teaches you to stand upto adversity. It teaches y...Read more

Anthony Kaun Hai…a light, breezy, comic thriller. The title drew in the eyeballs; the story had to glue the audiences together. Story telling is a fine art and a clever one too. Directors have to hand hold audiences into the world of the story, into a state of suspended disbelief; into a worl...Read more

Munich provoked a lot many questions, though I felt the moot point in the film was really one. Is the state larger than the individual or is it the other way? When and where is the line drawn that delineates man’s nationalistic fervor with his individual responsibility as a provider, a pro...Read more

The “Rising” didn’t soar like the eagle we had expected it to. Instead it crash-landed with a loud thud right in front of our eyes. One felt a little lost, a little bemused, a little sad at the outcome of a long awaited film. One more creative had fallen prey to a clueless, ine...Read more

Of fat bloated faces, drooping bloodshot eyes, thick lips and angry stares. The clichéd faces of the Bombay underworld kept me company for roughly 2.5 hours. learn and understand the art of cinema first. appreciate good original screenplays. not lifts from movies. SLB is to blame for the debacle that is BLACK. And i always chill. thats how i could critically judge the film.

good review. glad to see that i aint the lone wolf. u must check out my blog link to read all the comments i have recd. You are right when you say the director refuses to learn .... But then he never will. He rips off storyline's from other films. khamoshi was a lift, black is a lift from the miracl...e worker, the less said about devdas the better. i dont blame the actors. i blame the director and the writer for the disaster that is BLACK! Like Aditi has put it so wonderfully...'Its good intentioned mediocrity in a sea of train wrecks! And the less said about our film gng audience the better. We have such low IQ levels that its not even funny. I know i am being harsh but if you appreciate BLACK, then there's something wrong somewhere.Read More
