Sarkar: Ultimacy Redefined. Review on Sarkar

He braths, so the city, he turns so the city...he is a charmer, he is pied piper, he is the man how is loved by all, and he is the man who is Sarkar! Anyone coming out of the movie hall had one thing very common in verdict: Amitabh Bachchan is Sarkar for all Actors.

This is not merely a fanfareship statement. If you don't believe just go and watch the movie. It has such a tremendous set of performances specially from Amitabh, Abhishekh and KK that the movie hits you very deep, and when you come out of the cinemahall you fell Subhash nagre and his son Shankar is really somewhere around...that's the impact.

No doubt Godfather is the inspiration but treatment is totally brand new

With the opening shot you are convinced by Ramgopal Verma that this movie is from Godfather. Though that movie was made in triology and each volume was pretty long, this one is all 3 in one, but maintains the punch and does not loose the grip anywhere except the romantics part, which can be avoided easily.

But let me tell you very clearly, Sarkar is no way Godfather. The treatment of the story as well as setup is entirely different and you don't get even a single chance to compare between these two movies. Sarkar has a political family of Subhas nagre, who runs parallel governemtn, and does the justice to locals regradless of being elected or not. There is a terror and respect for him allover. This man has certain principle in life and does not rate all crimes as crime. His elder son (KK), Vishnu, is like the sony's character in Godfather. violent and brutal. But here are some twist in his character. He shaes hand with his father's opponents and stands against his ideology. He becomes so much misguided that he hatches plan to kill his own father, Subhas Nagre. But he meets violent end!

Another side, Abhisheik bachchan( The younger son, Shankar), is a softspoken humble natured person, far away from this all. As his father is attacked the chracater is transformed slowly into a tougher one. He takes over the parallel government which his father used to run earlier. And the rule of Sarkar continues.

While watching this movie, instead of drawing homology between Godfather characters I better drew references to Gandhi Family. Indira Gandhi looked Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek takes Rajiv's and KK takes Sanjay's cover. It just looks like their's story. Balasaheb Thackery's flashes too comes.

Performances: If I say that performance ha been of lifetime and memorable one in the history of Hindi cinema, it will be no way exaggeration. You will be simply blown off by Amitabh Bachchan, regardless of your age and sex. Slow dialogues or faster, expressive or action, no one in the hall talked once when he gave. It was so much gripping. You see ultimacy of performance and I am confused to say that whether he will bag awards for Black or Sarkar!

Abhishek Bachchan, has shaken everyone again after yuva.Here he gets much space. What you see in bunty babli is much bolstered with this movie. He is the dark horse. His character really depended heavily on expressions and lesser on actions and background. He will sweep you. Watch him.

<v>KK is ultimate:

He is another pillar of the movie, who has shown the roughness of soul and it's decline so accurately. god has given him such a talent. The smouldering and growing hatred for fahter and lust for power, short temper and lack of understanding , and he shows all with ease and ultimacy. he must be awarded for best supporting actor or villian.

Supriya Pathak as AB's wife and Tanisha as favored girl for Abhishek is good and will be liked. Specially I liked Tanisha. katrina kaif again disappointed. Swamiji and the the politician were the another impressive other casts. Overall performance is the biggest fort of the movie.

Direction is superb, and Ram Gopal Verma has shown what he claimed. Sarkar will be remembered as his best work to this date. The biggest thing I noticed about his direction is the timing and understanding of the character and character's psychology. I salute you RGV! Sound effect is very good and leave impact on you on almost every sceen. Cinematography is superb,a dn don't expect any song from the movie as the background itself is enough to tintilise your wire. could be peoples wishing to see songs return disappointed.

The negative point about the film which I felt was that some peoples would get scared of the violence sceens shown in the movie, specially ladies.

Without any hesitation, I will say Sarkar could be seen as the another great hindi movie, and best movie of RGV, where every front is on it's utlimate height. Watch it very very muct!
