General Tips on Media

It's quite amazing one can compare editor (or for that matter sub) to any other profession-- say doctor... editor is like a doc..fixing up messed up bones, muscles of the story and then plastering it with some catchy words ...making it readable...dnt know.. Editor as a Chef..u already have sai...d lot abt it....garnishing the poorly cooked dishes to make em mouthwatering... Editor as Engineer - bridge monkey, builder, contriver, designer, deviser, inventor, manager, manipulator, originator, planner, techie ..these are some common adjectives we can swap b/w editors and Engineers...I know this one is weird.. Editor as a prsioner -- DO I need to say a word on this..All editors know its a jungle out dere...and we are like some caged animals...amusing PRs and readers... I can site so many more examples....but I guess I shud congratulate the writer here.... Nidhi well written review..one can really feel that life is miserable being an editor..but one learns alot..and I guess u wud agree to that..
