Reviewed Last Juror, The - John Grisham

Feb 12, 2010 12:54 PM 2314 Views

If anyone knows how to tell a good story, it is John Grisham. He will not have spectacular endings or plots that keep thickening. His stories will keep developing with an honest touch of realism and realistic characterization as you read along. The Last Juror is no different. It is a story about...Read more

I know it is quite late to write a review for a movie that has been around for some weeks now but then I myself happened to see it quite late. The reason why I feel compelled to write about the movie because I had a lot of misconceptions about how 'bad' the movie would be and was proved wrong as...Read more

I had a hard time coming up with a title for the review. I considered "Insults your intelligience but worth a watch"; I also considered "Macho guys and cleavage toting chicks". This movie actually insults your intelligience. There are so many plots here that every scene throws out a surprise....Read more

This movie deserved an Oscar and got it too. A very serious movie superbly directed by none other than Clint Eastwood. The rawness of the movie is what appeals to me the most. And how all the characters are well-defined. There IS no good guy here. neither is there a bad guy here. But lots of ...Read more

They do not make action movies like these anymore, even if they do. they show too much emotion and cliche'd dialogues which di...Read more

Hi! I like Westerns only if Eastwood or John Wayne stars in them.... This definitely is my favourite... the background music is awesome... and I agree, even though the pace is slow... it keeps you enthralled and attached to the movie. The climax of the movie has to rank as one of the top 10 climaxe...s of the century.Read More

Hi jrangoon and the rest of the comment writers - I might be in the minority here but I have to say - I loved the ad. I am sorry for digressing a bit but when will people in this country realize that even women have a desire to express their feelings sexually. The ad is NOT DEGRADING women - it i...s in fact LIBERATING them. Also, it is 2005 - the third millenium in AD has already started - please view sex from a more open-minded point of view and appreciate the boldness of the ad. Read More
