There are a couple of people who have suffered problems with this model. There are many who say Nova 115 is better than Nova 135. Why?
After the release of Nova 135 last year in the month of July, Kinetic got a lot of complains regarding this launch and later had to change the CDI unit for all th...e vehicle free of cost for their earlier launches which had the defect.
One can not ignore the fact that the engine is noisy even in its earlier version which was 115 cc had this problem. I don't think increasing it to 135 cc would increase the engine noise. Kinetic needs to find a solution for this ASAP. Activa is noiseless. No doubt Activa is selling more.
One thing is for sure that if kinetic has to set up their brand then they will have to come up with a unmatched product. Lets wait and watch for the new launches of Kinetic in few months from now.Read More

Noisy engine..one can hear the noise at a distance of 100 m once your scooter is more than a year old..take good care of it..its not in your hands...haha..
Bad roads..strict no no from Nova's point of view as the shocks will fail to support..try to be in a city which has good roads...no proper se...rvice stations..you'll have to go to the mechanic very often..

Hey Neha...Can you tell me how much can i mishandle any scooter in a month's time and in this one month for 10 days the scooter was in the showroom. so eventually what damage can a user bring to any vehicle in 20 days of time.?

Specifications are in favour of Nova but checkout on road. You will find more of Activa's on the road. Its more durable and better brand name.

I am willing to sell my Nova 135 scooter. It is a months old now and the price would be negotiable. And I would also get the vehicle delevered to your doorstep if things get finallized.

2 great fans of Nova again.I have a gut feeling that these 2 guys are not putting in their experiences with Nova 135 rather they are trying to repeat the specifications printed by the company. Tell us something you really know and have experienced on your own so that the curious site visitors can ge...t the actual picture and not protrated one.
Hey Kajal don't get dishartened..I've heard that Honda is comming with a new exitement to beat these 2 Nova lovers who happen to be on net at the same time and coincidentally reply to your mail together.
I too had a bad experience with the Nova 135 which i bought a month back and i had mentioned about the engine vibration in my review. I would suggest all buyers to wait and watch for some time. This is getting interesting..

Don't you think Rs. 37,000 is tooooo less for all the features that you speak about...Activa is trying to sell 100cc at the same price..activa must have something which they are not going to compromise..by the way i have heard honda is coming out with its upgrade too..goood news for honda lovers...

Wish i was as lucky as you..You are lucky to be satisfied in terms of engine performance as you got a good lot from the production unit...In my new nova 135 vehicle there is a problem of knocking and vibration when i begin the vehicle from the start which could not be restified despite of all effors... made by the dealer...I also rode another new vehicle to make sure that the vibration is in all the vehicles and there was some amount of vibration in the new ones too....what about yours..?Read More

Even after 2 weeks of launching of the new vehicle there were many dealers who were not aware of the new launch...at least they should have been the first ones to know...
2. 'specs are good, power pick up acceleration can be felt IMMEDIATELY on the nova... 135'
Definitely there is more power than any 100 cc gearless vehicle as there is a difference of 35 cc and that counts....but don't you feel any vibration in you feet once you start acclerating to 40 khmp...or a knocking effect everytime you start from 0 kmph...I have taken a test ride of other new nova 135 vehicles and they too had the same effect....I can not believe that your vehicle is completely vibrationless and does not knock at all...
3. 'there are so many positives, like big storage space, great looks, features, great price, mileage etc that you have omitted'
The above looks and features that you are highlighting are definetly there but if a vehicle can not deliver a smooth ride these things take a back seat...The storage space becomes very hot being very close to the engine and therefore not everything can be kept there and yes i can not comment on the mileage as i have bought it vey recently..and right now it gives me around 40 kmph/ltr.

My review is based on my personal experience with the scooter right from the day i bought it..its meant to caution and help people who are thinking of going for nova 135...its their discretion entirely...but i just hope they keep all the points in mind before deciding upon something...

This is my 4th Kinetic Product..The three that I have are Kinetic Honda - the first model that was launched, Kinetic Y2k and Kinetic Zoom bought it last year....Did I complain about them or mention anything against them..that's the only good vehicle that kinetic has come up with..It just happened th...at I went for another Kinetic product and this time a four stroke vehicle to get better mileage than my previous ones....I think I was a bit quick in buying the vehicle ..Ideally I should have waited for some time and few reviews before making the purchase...
Please do not take this personal..Your kinetic is definetely a good one but unfortunately mine's not..I am sad about it...This incidence has broken my 8 years of turst with the Kinetic company that was since my college days..

It has been observed that Bajaj has been coming out with good quality of vehicles..In the price range less than 40,000 definitely CT 100 is the best in its category..its an upgrade version of Boxer which was a success in low range category motorcycles...

Lets give some practical answers to the artical which seems perfect when read...
'If the Activa is a star' - do you accept this ? , 'the Nova 135 is truly worth a billion Activas!' - you should try to compare Nova 135 with motorcycles..May be Nova could be better compared with 125 cc Motorcycles ...Category !!
AAHo would mean 'Advanced Acceleration Horrible Output'.
'The Nova has much much better pick up and acceleration than the ACtiva' - because of 35cc difference what a big deal !!,
i have myself done 95 kph!! - You must be kidding.. the scooter becomes very light and difficult to control due to wind pressure at the speed more than 60kmph.....You really have got the best out of the production unit..!! By the way have you done your Insurance..?
'it is very very refined with zero vibrations at any point' - Should I give you a statement written by an Kinetic Engineer saying that all Gearless scooter have vibrations.
'you cant feel any bumps at all as you blaze down the roads!' - on plane roads off course no one else would..!!
'the underseat storage space is HUGE.' - can you keep some food out there..its really a hot case after a few kilomter's run..!! ya maybe its made to keep food hot..!!

It has been a general observation that Kinetic has failed to produce good motorcycles till date althought if you go thru the specs..they are fab...better than its competetors..The fact is the specification do not match its performance once the vehicles are out in the market..The only good product th...at kinetic came out with was its Zoom version but it has lots of complains regarding poor mileage....
I am sad about the fact that i purchased Nova 135 but I would sincerely request our other friends who are looking forward for a purchase to think twice before taking the decision on buying a Nova 135...Although the specs of Nova 135 are good but in the long run its satisfaction that matters and one would get that in Activa....In the area where I stay we do not have any Honda showroom but there are equal number of Activa's as compared to Nova's. There are sensible people who go long way to make a purchase even though there is no Activs service station in this area..
In the long run it seems Activa would be the choice of most of the customers...i don't think there is a need for 135 cc in a scoterett category..100 cc is good enough and would definitely have a good match with power and performance....

Hetal is a college student and she has used 3 scooters in the past few years and has sent reviews for all three of them..2 of them for Kinetic where she rates 5 on 5 and 1 for Activa where she rates 1 on 5. She has all goodies for kinetic and all badies for Activa.
She seems to be technically m...ore sound than many of us despite being a college student...

By the way how many scooters have you purchased in last few years..I guess 3..right? Zing...Activa and Nova135...When you were happy with Zing a kinteic's product why did you buy Active a Honda's product..? Seems you are very technically sound to vehicles..and have a good idea being a college studen...t..ur comments seems fishy..are you somehow related to kinetic by any chance..?

All goodies about nova 135..where are the bad one's..NONE..i guess we have a vehicle with zero defect and the perfect product...
Your review makes me feel that we will not see any other vehicle other than Nova 135..what say?..
No vehicle is perfect with no negatives at all..there is always a s...cope for betterment...
The sudden increase in cc and bhp is not a perfect match for a gearless scooter...Kinitic needs to do some more research on the combination in order to stay for long in the market..
Think of Honda coming with 135 cc would you miss that one..?
