Just bought this a month back after a lot of research in the market for the 29 inches flat TV category. General observation with all the brands was the poor sound output quality. Although you would find all of them to be around 1200 W but Videocon's 7631 model has the best sound quality.
You can feel the woofer effect and get the impact of a mini home theater. If you play a music VCD its output is as good as a music player. If you ask someone to guess if the sound was from a TV or a Music system, one would definitely say a music system. Another great feature it its volume adjustment for different channels. Different channels have different sound output and the volume has to be adjusted in them accordingly.
Now you can a have a volume of 10 in one channel with high sound output (any music channel) and a volume level of 20 in another channel with low sound output (any movie channel) which is saved in the television as per your settings. This feature is really useful if you switch over from a movie channel to a music channel where the sound has to be decreased.
You can also lock the TV so that kids can not switch on the TV if you are away and want them to study..just to make sure that they do not engage themselves in watching cartoon shows. It also has the childs lock facility which are there in other televisions as well.
The TV also has a self demo which enables you to get an idea about its features. This is useful when you buy the TV and do not want to read the booklet.
It also has the sensi eye care for your eye protection which adjusts automatically accordingly to the room lights.
The best thing is the price. This TV is available for 26,000 Rs. and has all the features that you would look. If you go for any other brand with all these features it will not cost you lesss than 30,000 Rs.
