Frustrating wait time

Well don't go with what dealer says. Specially in Bangalore I have seen most of the Maruti dealer representatives talking nonsense to the poor customer who has no idea about the terminology they use. (For instance, sir ABS is sourced from Suzuki Japan that is why there is a delay). I don't think Mar...uti will be having such a bad inventory and they have to stop the production line just because a component is not available. The point is these dealers just don't have any details about the production and delivery time. And I found out why is it so. The Maruti's Bangalore (South Zone) office has employed some useless people who really don't bother about customer. I had a very bitter experience with Maruti Bangalore office people (for my Zen) and finally my problem was resolved after an engineer from Gurgaon attended my car's problem. I heard from a friend in Coimbatore that he is getting his SX4 Zxi in 15 days time. Well I guess Coimbatore is not covered under same zonal office as of Bangalore. Now I don't talk to local dealers and local Maruti office, I always (when needed) talk to Gurgaon people (address you can find on website) and I get the right information or solution. I am keeping busy to write to Gurgaon office about the status of SX4 Zxi, but I will have to it soon. I will update once I have some reply.Read More

Hi. Mileage of 8-9km within 2 weeks of purchase is not bad and that too in Kolkata. This will definitely increase over a period of time. You should be getting around 10-11kmph after 1st or 2nd service and that wil again depend on your driving style. Personally I am not expecting more than 12 kmpl fr...om SX4. HI D-Cool, Thanks for your comments. Well as far as interior and fit n finish, I liked SX4 over Verna. And this is just for a simple reason that the Verna which I drove had some black spots on its beige dashboard. I find SX4 interiors are classy with touch of chrome. In Verna I liked wood finis...h but then chrome and wood cannot go together nicely. So its purely an individual choice and taste. Also the integrated stereo gives much neat look compare to what is installed in Verna, again its an individual choice. BTW, you can find beige finish in the door trims, seats and under the dashboard. Yes, you said it right, old wine new taste. Not a single value added feature. All new features mentioned by M&M are the basic in Innova. What I expected from M&M in new Scorpio was Airbags, ABS (Anit-Lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Braking Distribution) to provide greater safety to driver a...nd passengers. I don't mind paying 12 LAKHS for a SUV with these features. After all safety is my prime concern. Ford and Honda offer these features well below 17 LAKH.
