Yes I tried in many places in Bangalore and everyone said the delivery schedule is 4-5 weeks from the date of booking. So I called up the dealer a week after that period. When I did not receive any satisfactory response I posted this and really got after the dealer and the maruti sales guy. The sale...s agent, his manager and the maruti regional sales executive were couteous and responded well after sensing my frustration. Vijaikiran, when did u book ur Zxi, you seem to be one of the few who have got this model in blore. I am still awaiting delivery after 1.5 months of booking

Thanks Rahul I spoke with Gurgaon office who gave me the number of regional sales manager who has promised to get back to me by tomorrow about the delivery date. He also mentioned the fact that the production of Zxi is not going as per plan. Lets see what happens

Today I got a call from my dealer telling me that from Jul 10 or Jul 15 they are startig full production of only high end models and the car will be delivered by the month end or latest first week of Aug. Thanks guys for the comments, nvln, I hope to get it soon too, lets see I have given my dealer a deadline of today to give me a delivery date. hemanthg, Thanks for the tip I have done so, lets see if they call me. mjkaushal, I too own a Santro and have no issues with i...t I agree on that front. The only thing about Verna is I personally din like the looks that much and have heard abt problems because of engine timing. I am currently thinking of falling back on the City VTEC which I had zeroed in upon prior to booking this.Read More
