I am from
Kolkata. I purchased a SX4 Vxi and upgraded it with original stereo, alloy
wheels, Stanley leather seats and the standard items and got the product
cheaper and earlier. The delivery time of Vxi was only 10 days. The car looks
well and runs well. But the fuel consumption seems a myth. With ac on in city
drive I am getting 8-9 km. No doubt it is too early to tell but I want to
caution you guys.
Now my tales of woes. The car was
delivered 2 weeks. The customer relations people of Maruti Udyog and the dealer
were very active at that time. But while I took delivery 2 weeks back there is
still no invoice or insurance or
registration or smart cart. I took the car from the oldest and most respected
dealer of Kolkata. Repeated reminders(from me only) draw only half hearted
response and request for more time. If those dealers are the best heaven protect the customers who go to the
other dealers. Also I saw the place full of musclemen. I have informed Maruti
but no improvement. I have to caution you guys because I am afraid I am caught
in a trap of fraud.
