We have stayed in Cherai and all the kerala resorts of clubmahindra. They were all very pleasant but for small problems. And the service and cleanliness was superlative.

Club mahindra may be technically right. Their rooms are superb. Only someone equivalent of IIM graduate can book a room. Buyer beware

Another problem I have faced is the stepmotherly from places hired by CM (not owned by CM), we stayed in alleppey where we were told that we would be charged Rs 100 for an empty bowl in the room!

You are perfectly right. Even irctc is transparent. It tells you how available etc. You book four months in advance and if you cancel within seven days you lose all. Today so many places you get good accommodation for Rs 1000

Club Mahindra is suitable only for people who can plan well. They have excellent resorts. It is not suitable for many of us. Excellent for a few who can plan
