I have been a member of this club for more than 6yrs now. The only reason my cautious and overly careful husband went for its membership was for the compulsory 7 days vacation and the standards of their resorts.


We went for red studio which is second in line, with top being purple.The first hiccup I had was during the booking of our first holiday when after calling 1.5months ahead of time they cudn't give us the bookings. Had to adjust our holidays according to the availability of the rooms.


This was to Varca beach resort, it was lovely, the place, swimming pool,  beach access, rooms n all.The game room was good  n u can have fun with ur kids, but be ready to pay for every game n more than what u may pay outside. The free fun games trick u in paying up in one or the other way.


The restaurant rates made us buy some snacks, Maggie n all(studio had a microwave) during our visit to market.


Haven't tried the spa, as my middle class values restrict me from spending a huge part of my hard earned money on luxuries which are avilable at a better price closer home.


The location was so far that u better have ur own vehicle else there r vultures waiting for u outside(u cant save urself from the insiders) to rip u out of what ever left of u.


Well this is the case with almost all of the club mahindra resorts.


I have been to all the resorts in maharastra n goa. latest one being Ganpatipule, which is actually a 3/4/5 start hotel(not sure how the rating is done). A regular hotel with regular rooms. I wouldn't have paid more than 3k with b'fst included. CM had promised us studio apt, but it was a hotel unit. So lost my holidays here.


There is a new resort coming up near lonavala. we love it. Its close to our place n a peaceful place to spend time with oneself n dear ones. But you cant find it on their website as its under construction for last 3+yrs(my first visit was 3yrs back)


When I called up to book for this resort, the lady at the other side says I cant book for the weekends as weekends are for the purple group only. Now I need to go for a weekday holiday or keep calling them to check if there was any cancellation or is there any room which no purple guy wanted to book n all. its turning out to be frustrating.


I some times wonder where is this going. They keep changing their rules when enquired their pathatic costomer care guys say we have communicated it already, pl check ur mail box.


The customer service guys sitting at the other end of ur ph call or in the resorts all need to be trained to handle so many unhappy customers.


Mr. Mahindra, either change your policies to favour existing customers as no new ones r joining ur club. else give us our money back, we wish to quit!
