But again as I see it, I compare it with my life back in Hyderabad. I had no relatives there too, nor do I have here.
I used to play cricket on weekends and thats what I do here.
9 to 5 job is pretty common and I had that in India too.
And as I see it, the way things are here in St.... Louis, I know why Indians here are ready to settle. We have almost everything simialar to what was there back in India. At least thats what it is for a bachelor like me.
And as far as staying here for a short term is concerned, may be you are right, I am already planning for a trip somewhere in Europe or China. But my reasons are not really the same as yours. I wanna explore the places, people and the culture there in.

Hi Rohit,
I am from Bihar and was working in Hyderabad till I had to come for this assignment in US. These are my personal observations and hence I do not generalize it to NRIs as you have done.
Some of the pointers you can take:
1. Loneliness : Not AT ALL. It all depends on where you are and how... you cope with the place. I was lonely back in Hyderabad too. I used to spend my time with my friends, played cricket in my free time. Thats what I do here....(Cricket in summer and Bowling, pool in winter, and that what I was doing back in hyderabad.)
2. At least people(Americans) here dont fake their smile as we Indians do in India.
3.Roads are not only good, and clean, they do smile, depends how you drive.
4. There are plenty of Indian restaurants here in St. Louis.
5. We do have our own cultural association and yes, we have our very own TEMPLE here.
6. There are 14 cricket teams here and we do have a proper cricket ground with turf wicket.(May sound unbelievable, but its true !!).
Again, as I said I am not commenting on the general NRI janta here, as I am not aware of their plight. At least we group of Indians, who are all IT engineers, have a better time here than India.
By the way, your review covers good topics but was a little biased in terms of words used like 'bhagodas', 'slave' etc.
This will just misguide people.

thats a pretty good review. got an overall decent picture of what this phone is like.
Damn it!! I got w810i last month and this phone is not gonna come to US market for some months. You see, US is way behind India in terms of mobile tech.
'rohitthebest' - iPhone is NOT coming to India a...nytime before Q2-2008.

thats a nice, short and sweet review on a good novel. i read this novel when i was preparing for my final semester exams and i can tell u that i was so engrossed that i almost flunked one of my exams..:)

ur review was good one and quite descriptive. I bought this phone just a week back and I wonder why I was given only one stylus in the sales pack.
Regarding the reception, I do not agree since this phone has a wonderful reception.

thats a good informative review. I think this problem of eve teasing is more prevalent in the north indian cities. As for the South india, i believe its less of a problem here. Since i have been to bangalore, chennai and now in hyd, my knowledge comes from my female colleagues.
By the w...ay, did u know that hyderabad has been surveyed as the safest metro of India for women.

i totally agree with u regarding the fact that cupid's arrow can not miss anyone. Its just that ppl tend to deny it even though they know that whole world knows abt this. In an IT companies (i am also working in one of them ), its more or less a bonding that develops over that time and som...etimes it does end up evolving into a romantic (mis)adventure. But then there are ppl who can and who by their virtue of self-dscipline, can avaoid getting into this crap thing.

i thought u will improve day by day but it seems that the gap in writing the reviews has proven too bad for ur writing skills.
Another bad review. Because of no technical specifications, no useful info. Just plain talk and simply boring one.
