Before joining jeevansathi 3 months back, I was a member with bharatmatrimony, a1im & shaadi.com. The reason for switching to jeevansathi was to indulge in some change and create a profile that talked about me, as a person and not me, just as my parents’ daughter. : ) I mean to say that the other profiles were created and accounts were handled jointly by my parents in their hunt for a perfect son-in-law while my http://www.jeevansathi.com account was operated by me alone in search of Mere Jeevansathi…my Life mate who had to necessarily pass my “Soulmate Test” first.

What’s good about JEEVANSATHI.com
£-- The site has a chic look and is well organized.
The homepage features doesn’t make it too crammed up but, at the same time all necessary tools are at hand right there…a normal Partner Search engine (based on Gender, age, ethnicity, caste, sorted by dates) and an Advanced Partner Search that goes into details of caste/religion/etc.
Also, the homepage lets us search for a profile ID without having to login to our account.
£-- The messenger feature is something that helps exchange info (including contact addresses). The plus point is if I am not a paid member I can still use the messenger IF another person who is a paid member sends me the Chat Request.
£-- Cost-wise, Jeevansathi.com is priced lesser than Bharatmatrimony by a 65bucks average difference. If you ask me, then you won’t be complaining because I have found that most of the profiles that are in other sites like bharatmatrimony & shaadi.com are found on jeevansathi.com *Please note, I am talking mainly about Indian profiles here.

What’s not-so-good about JEEVANSATHI.com
The MESSENGER is very mediocre from a regular chatter’s point of view.
Watch out for “time-pass” in case you are seriously hunting for a lifepartner. It could sometimes get on your nerves.
In Indian marriages there is a ritual of matching the horoscopes before marriage. Howvever, unlike bharatmatrimony, Jeevansathi does not provide the facility to upload your horoscope.

Some useful Tips:
^ Don't get into the PAID membership mode immediately after joining a matrimonial site.
Instead, use the free service and take your time in finding profiles that fit your idea of your JEEVANSATHI to a T.
^ Always keep your profile update & complete without giving away your contact details in any form.
^ Your photograph definitely speaks volumes when it comes to partner hunting. So, kindly post a decent and clear one. This site allows you to post 3 photos in a single profile so, maintain your album.
