UPDATE: The TV has been working fine. Updates on the problems I had mentioned: 1. Remote has gotten better. Samsung customer care guy gave some elaborate procedure (pressing remote on a hard surface, keys down etc) which seems to have worked. The earlier problems are now gone. 2. Cracking sound st...ill happens once in while but it is rare now. Maybe the TV has 'settled down'. 3 & 4 - No updates/changes. Read More

Cruze CFT 5050 fire Treadmill

Aug 22, 2014 08:53 AM

Cruze CFT-5050 and Jogger's Park UPDATE: The treadmill itself is fine now. We were able to get the number of a good treadmill repair/service guy in Gurgaon. He found some issue with loose screws and fixed the noise problem immediately. The treadmill has been running fine since then. Jogger's Par...k: Before finding the excellent service guy, we tried JP twice more, with no improvement in results. I would recommend taking and trying their support number, before making a costly purchase. Maybe it was just my bad experience. However, I will not be making another purchase from them, and have no reason to call them up after finding the new repair guy.Read More

I bought this treadmill last year (Sept 2012) for residential use. I paid about INR 50000 for it which was slightly over my budget. However, the salesman at Jogger's Park, MG Road, New Delhi convinced me citing good motor, custom modes, buttons on handlebar and good feedback from existing customers....Read more

We bought this Samsung 6800 Smart LED TV in Dec 2012. It was installed a week later by Samsung guys. These are installation people and do not know anything about the TV really. So, calling them Samsung 'engineers' is a stretch. The wall mounting went fine, no issues yet. The TV provides a goo...Read more

I also see that the drain pipe (which drains impure water?) is continuously draining water. We had put this pipe directly into our drain and did not notice the problem earlier. However, we recently took out this pipe when drains were being cleaned, and were shocked at such wastage of water. I think ...these products should be tested by ISI or some other department to ensure there is less wastage of resources.Read More

We had a Samsung 21'' TV (non-flat) since last 8 years. It was still running fine without any problems, except that the remote had conked out twice. There was also some problem with a fuse initially which was swiftly resolved by Samsung support (under warranty). So when we wanted a flat 29'' TV,...Read more

I don't own this bike, but a friend left his with me when he went abroad for some time. So I was able to compare it with my Caliber. 1. Refinement is definitely better than Caliber. It is smoother at lower speeds. 2. At higher speeds (60+), the Caliber is smoother. Splendor engine feels ragged... and screechy at higher speeds. 3. Gears are not very smooth ... maybe it is the dust of Gurgaon :-) caliber gears are a lot better. 4. Starting problems in winter. This was very surprising since caliber gives no such problems. In summer things were better. 5. Lights are not good ... however, even Caliber is not very good on this :-( 6. Fuel economy is OK ... this was the selling point once, but no more. There are better options for this in the market.Read More

We too bought this fridge for similar reasons. Some additions to comments: 1. Noise level is high compared to some other brands which we have seen in friends places. 2. Defreezing is not very good. We found this same problem with earlier Godrej models as well. 3. Performance is good. Cools ...quickly, and no problems so far. 4. Space is a bit less, esp. in the freezer. 5. Veg basket is difficult to manouver.Read More

I am a vegetarian as well and will look at my LG MC again to make sure I haven't missed anything ;-) While nothing specific for vegees, this oven is really good. We have tried pizzas, idlis, cakes etc ... it works really well. Not noisy, and no creakings so far. Our usage is going up steadily!... Thankfully, no need to test LG service so far :-)Read More

Sexy, maybe ... but practical? I am not so sure .... First, there are issues with getting to different features. I should know, because I design GUIs for a living :-) Second, dust gets inside pretty easily. Regular cleaning is required. But this loosens the keys, cover etc. Why do we need H...indi fonts? It is difficult to use anyway, even if anybody wants it. Turning it off is not intuitive. FM: Why do we have to plug in the headphones to switch this on? I know that antenna is in phones, but cmon, how big is it. Put it inside the phone! Pros: Phone is indeed sleek and lightweight. Battery is good. FM facility is really good (especially for Cricket commentary).Read More

Good review. I would like to add the following: 1. Rear head room comment is correct. The seats are raised. However, my sales guy said it is to provide better ground clearance. 1a. Rear legroom is not good. I felt as if I was sitting in my Opel Corsa! 2. Ground clearance is not good! I ha...d this problem with earlier GM cars ... it exists in Aveo as well. Test with full load. However, it is better than Honda City in this aspect. 3. AC is not upto the mark. Honda City is the benchmark I tested against. 4. Interiors cannot match those of Honda City, but are definitely better than Fiesta. 5. Mileage claims should be taken with a pinch of salt. I have owned 2 GM cars in the past ... experience says subtract 4+ from GM claims.Read More
