It's 2014 and the current rage is e-commerce. Indian buyers have begun taking to it like fish to water. Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and a dozen other online shopping biggies are busy calculating their profits already. Foreign investors are competing to fund these promising ventures. But RediffShoppin...g will fade into ignominy. Thanks to their unscrupulous business tactics, which they started playing way back in 2009. Now, I don't even spare a glance for them, when I buy stuff online...fairly regularly. Ohhhh, what a shame for a pioneer.Read More

Hi Congratulations on your new acquisition. Could you share the expected cost for each service (Free and Paid). What is the warranty kilometers/period of Suzuki Hayate? Also, what was the on-road price you paid? I heard Suzuki's gear-box (especially in the Sling Shot model) was giving problem...s. Could anyone throw some light on the technical down sides of Suzuki commuter bikes? I'm trying to decide between TVS Star City CVTi 110 and Hayate. TksRead More

Good decision in not buying a Tata. A few years ago, I too went in for a Indica Xeta because of good specs (on paper) with cheap price tag. I regret having not bought a Santro for a bit more. I guess in buying a car what matters most is the quality of engineering and not just looks or other cosme...tic stuff.Read More

Nice approach to buying the car Abhi. Please post your updates too and be as unbiased as possible, especially regarding the 'not so goods'. That's what makes MS a more reliable place to support decision-making. Happy cruising!

Honda Activa is certainly riding too much on their brand equity. It may not be too long for Suzuki and Mahindra to overtake them in sales and popularity. The writing on the wall is clear for HMSI to wake up.

If you think the health problem was purely due to the poor shock absorbers of Activa, I'd suggest you go for a legal proceeding and seek cover for your treatment expenses and more.

QuestNet is a cursed business proposition. Eearning money may be possible if the IR manages to cheat enough into it but it's not easy. Even to such earning, there's a big curse attached. Let no one get into it unless they'd like to be cursed for generations.

This member is talking about some business skill that QuestNet Independent Representatives (IR) possess and others do not. The only thing that these guys possess is the skill to make about 16 foolish victims (who they call downlines) cough up Rs 33,000 each (US$ 720.00 approx) for some worthless pro...duct/service so that they can get their Return on Investment (ROI). If the downlines mange to repeat the trick with more fools, this first chap gets richer. Whether you get rich or lose, all the IRs do is living on other's money - loot a big part of a fools investment. They the newest fool that there are other fools who he/she must find and then a share of the loot will be given to him/her. What a fraud is this. No ethical person is associated with QuestNet International (QI). The reviewer only added some big names who have written a book on the subject of Multi Level Marketing. QuestNet is not an ethical business proposition and whoever has started this has earned curse for self, family, thier extended generations and also the rest of the IRs.Read More

Lalit, the initial review sounded like an attempt only to de-stress by expressing anger and not genuine feedback that a prospective buyer like me would look for. However, when I read your response to the comments and noticed the data, it sounded much better. Not always does one read all the comments..., so its better to put all the stuff in the review itself. No offence to the reviewer, after all the negative experiences true and part of life! If it’s possible, see if you can modify the review.Read More

Hi Bhushan I guess Rediff Shopping is one of the worst places to shop not just because of delay in delivery BUT ALSO because most of the products are really sub-standard in quality. I would say they are only TOY PRODUCTS and not real ones. I would strongly discourage everyone from buying ...at Rediff Shopping. Bhushan, I don't want to disappoint you further but I think they will not give your money back. If at all they do, please update us on MS. Thanks ChrysolyteRead More

Kinetic is spoiling the name of SYM by the way the scooter is manufatured sold and serviced. If customers complain that the milage is low, Kinetic engineers have to heed to it and test it, make necessary changes to the technology. OR ELSE, just say it's milage is only 30 kmpl. Having some idiot...ic lobbyers on mouthshut.com who will say only good (as though they are employed for that purpose) is not the solution to the problem. If that's the only thing the big guns at Kinetic know to do, Flyte and Kinetic (or now M&M) will die a slow death.Read More

The company has printed 45 Kmpl on their promotional literature and the showroom staff promised the same. But I agree with most mouthshut friends that the scooter is a big disappointment on the milage front. The power and acceleration problem is a new one for me, as the Flyte we had bought in... June is pretty fine getting to 70 kmph if given a free stretch. It also lugs our family of three (weight of about 170 kg) with ease. Unless the cartoons at Kinetic have fingered the original 125 cc engine that's manufactured in Thailand by Sang Yung Motors (SYM), the low power and 'not able to get beyond 40 kmph speed' problems you face are really a surprise. Nevertheless, after sales service still needs to gain respect in our country where the value system in businesses and politics is rock bottom. Even Honda Activa after-sales service is pathetic. I hope our country soon gets to treat customers as they should be even after the product is sold.Read More

Surya Wheels technical staff are pathetic. They think customers are fools and lie through their teeth on issues that you point out. So, if the pick problem was caused due to their inefficiency, you'd better call/write to the company engineer. There's an old chap as supervisor and another lean m...iddle aged chap in the admn. Both are utter useless when it comes to getting your issues sorted. The mechanics are equally disappointing. Beaware SURYA WHEELS customers, of the workshop guys. The bike is okay otherwise.Read More

Hi all I'm not surprised at the kind of treatment meted to Srivatsa because the BIG TV guys didn't even respond to my enquiry SMS sent 2 weeks ago. Yeah Coolmasters, low ground clearance is an issue with Flyte, only when the speed breakers are unusually high and steep. However, the centre-stand of the vehicle is what touches the speep-breakers and not the fuel tank. Coming to mileage, I guess you can expect it to return 40 kmpl on high ways. In... city driving conditions, I'm getting about 38 kmplRead More
