Dear KS ( seems like a famous brand !!), You may disagree with the entire world and its opinion, its your sweet wish, however don't profess the cause and result of a problem which you know nothing about. The finality with which you write that the probelm is the installation and not the product, it ...seems that you were the one hwo installed the product !!! Hahahaha!! Is it not the responsibilty of Hitachi to ensure proper installation and then in case of any problem intervene and resolve the issue ? If this is the case then what is the difference between the cheapest AC available in the market and one of the most expensive - Hitachi ? Let's see how long can you... enjoy your the best in class products like Mercedes without proper service and spares support from the principal ??? By the way are you working for Hitachi ? Particulars for those who are interested : Excise Invoice No. : 156 Dtd. 15/04/2008, VAT invoice No. 10167 Dtd. 15/04/2008 2 Ton SPLIT ACE – 7 Nos. Rs. 251301.00 Problems : Defective Instalation ( No Drain Pipe Left), The gapo betwwen the wall the athe indoor unit was upto 2 inches at some plac...es, No Cooling in 2 AC's, and in One the Grill Temperature was 16 instead on recommended 11 degrees. E Mails sent to : 'ravindra.tambe@hitachi-hli.com'; 'customercare@hitachi-hli.com';rutviz@hhli.co.in after nemerous calls to the local dealer in Jaipur - Bharat Aircon. No responce from the compnay or the dealer. Only blackmailing for more money, inspite of the machines being under warranty. The nexus between the delaer and the company service managers is disgusting. Company does not have its own service engineers. The idea of sharing all this that at least friends on this site can be beware and save themselves of this ordeal.Read More

The Hitachi products are Chinese and their after sales service is ZERO. Would not recommend Hitachi Air Conditioners for FREE also. Put a air cooler instead. At least there will be peace of mind. With a Hitachi AC in your house, you will neither have cooling of room nor mind.
