Well, I would like to add to all above comments the following. I bought a Ford Figo Titanium model for my son and after riding in it and driving it a few times, I purchased a top end version Ford Fiesta. Both cars give 18 - 20KM per ltr diesel. Basically drivers cars and my son says he once did 140 ...km in the Figo. The most unfortunate thing with Maruthi Swift and Ritz is that Airbags are not even an option in the diesel version. So much for the safety in this ever increasing traffic. I was surprised to see that Verna also do not offer Airbags as option. May be these car manufacturers think that we Indians do not value our lives so much or they think they can sell more petrol cars by offering these safety features in them!Read More

I agree with you 100%. I did not get a reply to the e-mail sent to Mr. Mahindra himself. Since I have already expressed my opinion on the VLX I used and sold in a hurry within 4 months, I am not repeating the same.

I have a Laura Elegant. During the long trip it gives 20 kmpl. Fantastic to drive. However, the A/c cooling is not great. My Baleno cools faster. You have to be careful when giving Laura M/T to drivers. My driver probably drove it with half-clutch and the fly-wheel had to be changed. The dealer in C...oimbatore took 18 days for this though there was no fuss from Skoda to accept the claim and change the same free of cost. The dealer spoils everything.Read More

I really envy you. Thank God you did not have any problems. I had to sell my Innova-V within 5500 km due to vibration and irritating noise from thsuspension repeated after the 2nd service.

Dear Anoop You will see my first comment were I was satisfied but as I clocked about 2000 Km, the lack in quality control showed. I did not wait for 8000 Km and experience the problems you had faced. I sold it off after 6000km. Since I had warned to go to court, the dealer was very co-operative bu...t the car had to be taken to them(they took it by their own driver) and repaired more than six times. It was obvious that many teething problems were not solved before marketing this vehicle which is an unprofessional attitude we do not expect from such a brand. I bought my m-hawk on 8th April 2008 and sold it yesterday. Eversince I bought it, my dealer had to take it to the work shop almost every fortnight. I opted for a factory fitted roof a/c. The a/c conked out 5 times. The ABS and handbrake lights came automatically on. The audio controls on the steeri...ng stopped working. There was hardly any improvement in the ride quality. But the road stability was good. The biggest blow was the non responsive attitude from Mahindra customer care including the top brass. I will not touch a Mahindra vehicle with a 20 feet barge pole after my experience. I bought a slightly used Pajero. However, I must appreciate the regional officers who went out of the way to rectify the faults in record time. Thank God they also did not have their noses up in the air!Read More

I bought my Scorpio VLX on 7th April, 2008 after having very bad experience with Innova V and selling it. Though the vehicle is loaded with electronic gadgets, they should have thoughtfully added roof A/c and airbags. The dealer, TVS fitted a roof a/c for me at extra cost. this had to be repaired tw...ice due to gas leakage as the aluminium pipe cracked. It looks ok now and I love to drive it in the Kerala rains with the rain sensor on. I would like to add that 0-60 km could be achieved in 7 seconds.Read More

I bought my Innova V model on 31st August 2007 and sold the same on 20th March 2008 after 5600 km. I was so annoyed with the irritating noise coming from the suspension whenever the car is loaded with 7 people. It was repaired after 1st service but repeated after the second service. I really wish for more Sharmas in our National Airline. I have almost stopped travelling by IA. Last time I travelled from Muscat to Delhi, I was woken up at Ahmedabad by the air-hostess saying the passenger from Ahmedabad to Delhi, sitting behind me needs to eat at 4-30 am. (This was in Business c...lass) Last year I travelled 6 times in IA and I had to write 5 complaints and got response-no..not response, just acknowledgement for one.
