I agree that there is something more to a car. With due respects to your feelings to Vectra, I think you also own social responsibility in buying such cars and setting a benchmark in resale value. I love this car but will never pay so much for a car which is abandoned by its makers. This will set a ...bad example and others will demand more for such cars. Although thte features are fantastic, I get tempted to buy this beauty and can afford as well, but the price is not justified. Its really scary reading such reviews, have read more negatives about Tata Safari, it looks good from outside, but its a problematic machine, Such cars are like a cancer, waste money lik water.
